We have Rajesh reporting good things about a particular 3ch heli  in this thread.

Rajesh - Can you point to sources for this ?  Or if you can work with any RC store in Bangalore (including yourself ;) ) to have this available for shipment.  This seems like a good opportunity to do our bit in helping newcomers !

You could look for it toy shops, shoppers stop, landmark and similar stores. They are sold for Rs1750, so well within your budget. I'll definitely try to help out if you can't find them locally, let me know.

Here are a few more variations of the model.

If you have one, can you please post a zoomed out picture showing the whole box, with brand/company name etc.

dear,

I have a 4 channel coaxial or a 4 channel FP

Coaxial will cost you 3.5K and FP will cost you 4K + shipping

You can start with a coaxial which is very easy to fly.

@anwar

Hi....is there any Rc store in cochin? I am looking for 3or4 channel radio controlled heli having 30 meters range and at least 20cm length for fuselage, if you come across  it in any RC online store in india please inform me.

I am not aware of any RC stores in Kerala, except the Aerosports folks (http://www.aero-sports.in/).  But they are not into electrics so far, from what I know.

You might find these simple helis in normal places though (malls, "gulf baazar" type of places etc).
