Hey guys,
I am new to the RC world but I've always been interested in RC planes. A few months ago, I bought a slow stick from RC Bazaar. (Balsa wood) which was recommended to me by someone. ( http://www.rcbazaar.com/products/1775-stick-laser-cut.aspx )
It turned out to be a bad idea as it is a fairly complex build (not for a first-timer) and the instruction manual is very basic with no details at all. I built the fuselage satisfactorily, the tail seems to be alright but I'm a tad worried because the hinges are not affixed as well as I had hoped. The wings are what I'm really worried about. The wing rib tips have broken off and the aileron section has to be attached. I have no clue how to cut out and attach the ailerons, etc.
I have attached pictures of the plane. I don't want the money to go a waste. Can I still salvage the plane? I really want to see it fly.
Please guide me on how to attach the ailerons and fix the wing ribs. As of now, I still haven't purchased anything except the plane itself. I use cyano glue. This is the link to the manual- http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uploads/804857917X192693X36.pdf

Thanks.  :)

Here's a good video explaining the process for installing model airplane hinges.

Your model most likely came with CA hinges and the process to install them should be similar if not the same. Search the internet some more and you'll find some good articles on this subject. Try to search for build threads for your particular model as well. A simple search brought up this video.

Before hinging you will need to bevel the edges on your vertical fin and rudder as well. I hope you still have all the tips of the wing ribs as they will be needed to build the ailerons. The tips get sandwiched between tow sheets of wood to give you a trailing edge. Ideally you should have just built the complete wing and the cut the ailerons out.

Hope this helps and good luck with the build.
