Hi

My AXN Floater has finally arrived :) and now I'm looking for a radio. The Spektrum 6dxi and the Sanwa RDS8000 are similarly priced but as far as I can tell the RDS8000 is more feature rich. Which one should I buy?

Well, it is really difficult to pick. But i would say, go for RDS8000 because it has got more no. of channels than Dx6i so it will serve you for a lifetime. When you start getting into more advanced stuff you will surely require more than 6 channels.
