I had no sim training, and so had many crashes, broke few props too. But eventually succeeded. What I learned is if you can buy a sim, it is perfect beginning. If you don't have, go for perfect CG balancing( or slightly heavy in front ahead of CG) , this is crucial in terms of easy launch and flying. For easiness of control, I connected the rudder servo to the aileron pin.

@Kamal, my own plan.If you want I can draw dimensions in a sheet. The best thing I did is I could cut the Thermocol form in a perfect shape.The under side of the wing is not flat, but same curves like the aero foil. I could do it with a template and Hotwire. Instead may be a flat Thermocol bent in front with the help of a bottle also should serve the purpose.But try bending only after covering the Thermocol sheet tightly with plastic food wrap only, otherwise it may break badly.If form safe glue is not available, you may try this- put the hot glue on a knife and then apply it on Thermocol ,so that it won't harm the material.

CG 6.3 cm from the leading edge of the wing. This is where I hot glued 52 cm long CF ( 3mm ) tube. Wing span 800 mm, chord =21 cm

please nothing like that sir ..........thermocol build ,the area u were flying the plane , not a RTF but a scratch build is what i like, give her a go on a bigger ground with a liitle colour(weight) and some videos next if possible .........great job. You should start a thread for thermocol models which did fly :thumbsup: u inspired me to try thermocol now
Sure. I have paint sprays with me. Large ground is the lacking part in thickly populated Kerala.
I normally just throw in some fabric paint just kind of lines it saves weight also....u can have your kids do it :thumbsup:
