Darshan for multirotors

Hey guys
I know this is the dumbest question ever and maybe the answer is no but still I am asking
Can we reduce the pitch of the prop? I know that we can reduce the size of the props but I wanted to ask about the pitch
Thanks for looking into the thread and taking the time for reading   :hatsoff:

yes, you can but accuracy is the question.

why would someone do that? prop is a precision item .....other than balancing there is not need to tamper a prop.

On the other hand people have flown with one fin of propeller....by proper balancing.

Darshan, what exactly do you mean by reducing? Is it changing the prop to a lower pitch one?

You can definitely change the pitch of a prop by changing to a prop with a lower pitch, here's what you will achieve...
- Reduced Air speed
- Reduced load on the motor ( increased flying time ) .

If I have got your question right, That is

dear friends .... Darshan has asked it simple....

As we can cut the size of prop can the same be done for pitch.

N if yes then How?

Thanks for making it clear sir...

no need for so much head scratching

heat the root of each prop blade ,  twist the blades to a lesser pitch by "andaz" ....of course you will have to sacrifice a few props till you get the hang of it

I have done it many times with rubber power peck polymers props.

By the way - if you cut down a prop(reduce the dia) you are effectively increasing its pitch.

Cutting props seems to be getting popular in mini quad racing with the emergence of 'bullnose' props. I believe they provide better performance.

Darshan root is the point where the blades are attach to the center part...
