Hello guys! I have recently built my second quadcopter with DJI NAZA m lite FC, 980kv dji motors and 450 size frame. Now my quad motors are facing huge vibrations when I push my tx input control sticks to higher levels. Someone please help me with this problem
There seems to be problems with your propellers, kindly balance them and if the quad wiggles more than vibrating then your fc might need anti vibration mounts.
Thank you for replying.
I have used brand new DJI motors which come with self locking 9045 propellers, they are perfectly balanced. All the motors spin well and even I can fly quad smoothly.
But after giving it more throttle above 60% or even on giving hight roll, pitch inputs this vibrations come into play.
For knowing the problem well , you please watch my video posted on YouTube. https://youtu.be/Kz9b_c0cMBY
Any links of the video would be appreciated ;D
I have put an attachment with the privious reply
It's not uploading, sorry for that.
If your there on whatsapp or somewhere, can you please send me your contact no. So that I can clearly send my queries through that.
Will appreciate that 8013074701
Is it okh if I message you on whatsapp?
That's what the number is for! ;) :giggle: Seems that your prop has a weak point in one side, so when the throttle is up it deforms more than the other side of the prop, go ahead and check if its balance and then try flexing up the prop a bit....see if one side deforms earlier....
If it's not the prop, remove each motor and test them individually, it may be caused by faulty motor parts.
Looks like that's the S500 frame? I had a similar issue because the frame arms were flexing too much making it unflyable. Where did you buy the frame? Make sure it is the original with CF rods in the arms.
I have also got this problem on my x525 dji quad. In which all my motor and props are balanced but when throttle stick goes above 50 or more is starts vibrating.
Then after lots of struggling with quad I encountered the problem is in motor mount of frame. Then I replace motor mount with wooden mount pic is attached i don't know if it is same in your case BUT TRY ONE THING IF POSSIBLE TRY TO REMOVE MOTOR AND MOUNT IT ON WOONDEN MATERIAL AND CHECK WITH PROP ON IT. If there is no vibe at all then motors and prop are good then problem is in frame.
I will change my frame and see whether it is giving the same problem.
Which is the best frame for quad of size 450? And where in india will it be available?
Before changing frame check motors with prop mounted on other stand or something. I have also use a 3M double side foam tape between WOONDEN motor mount and frame to reduce vibration...
try balancing the prop
