hello everyone!!!!!!!!
I am new to rc world.............until a fortnight ago I did'nt have any idea about rc stuff being so very popular ....
rc stuff has always fantasized me and now I do want to be a part of this rc world.........
but I am bit confused  ???  between buying a plane or truck...................it is 60% for car and 40% for plane.........
the reason for preferring car over plane is just tht it would be easier to build orientation on cars but at the same time i have fear i might get over car craze over the time
coming to planes- I will need to have a trainer(person) as i have never flown a plane in my life&  radios are little expensive.
I have a limited budget out my savings(pocketmoney) so even that is a problem....................
any help/input is appreciated :help:

Welcome on RCINDIA Kishu!

Great to see you starting in RC.
Well, either car or plane, both are addictive. Its a matter of interest to choose among them. Car, as you said, would be easier to learn on your own. But in planes, you would need practice to fly it. There are so many simulators these days available online to learn flying. There are many great flyers in delhi, you can find them and start flying with them. Car and Plane, Both are different and it is totally on you to choose. Both have Pros and cons but what fits your interest, does matter. Read more and more about this great hobby on RCINDIA. Use "state of the art" search feature  ;D on the upper right side of the page to get at something accurately. All the best and have fun.

Thanks.
Sumeet.

thx sumeet for ur valuable input
its just tht being a student ..i m tight on budget ...........buying plane+radio+paying for training gets too expensive.....I am getting a decent offer for a new plane+radio but training is pretty expensive .....can't risk flying without training as crashing would again hurt my pocket
Coming to cars as you may know cars are highly overpriced in India by dealers  (the reason as they say  customs + shipping + profit+etc ,though still inflated, thts not the issue but) whatever it maybe .......... so considering getting one from outside ....would try to bring one by myself.........I hope no custom is charged when u bring it urself in luggage....
rightly said plane and cars are different and depends upon ones own interest but a big but.....when u like both and have limited money= confusion ???
:banghead:

Sumeet

Its not like you have to pay for training. Just get in touch with RC buddies in your area. Have good company. Spend some time with them on their field. See how they fly. See how they maintain their crafts. You will eventually be flying on your own. Just keep patience, Close your eyes, pull a deep breath and jump in deep blue ocean. Its a lot adventure up there. Guess you know what I mean.

Thanks.
Cheers.

O.K, so getting a car is like fishing in a lake(risk free) and getting a plane is like fishing in an ocean(facing tides and storms), right?
All you got to figure out for yourself is how much passionate you are about something and how many risks and problems you can face.

I bought a  :Rs: 700 coro sheet and built a couple of planes that didn't work so well. But the last one I built flies so great that the 14 rc cars(short range)+ the i10 (sports ver.) I own don't give as much joy as flying! So it all depends on what you enjoy more!
