I want to buy a Radio on low budget and it should serve me for future also (atleast for a couple of years).

(1)
I've shorlisted Hobby King 2.4Ghz 6Ch (HK-T6A-M2)
What other Rx is compatible with this apart from HK-T6A?
How do I get to know about this compatibilty ?

(2)
For tha above Tx I want to use
Turnigy 1450mAh 3S 11.1v Transmitter Lipoly Pack (T1450-TX-3)
What charger would be ideal for this.
I would like to make a one time inverstment for charger.
Kindly suggest.
I should be able to charge the LiPo (power for the plane) with this charger.
Should I be looking for something like this http://www.jackshobbies.in/products_big.aspx?imgid=237

(3) Next, I want to buy the Mr Moss glider for this.
I assume the 4.5K version has a Rx.
Will my Tx be compatible with this Rx ?

(4) How exactly does one recharge a electric in the field ?

Hey drone,

I think if you want to start the hobby and want to use a radio for a few years then I strongly suggest that you either buy a spectrum or a Futaba....

The Spectrum DX5e with the simulator is available for Rs. 9500 + spectrum receiver for another 3500/-

Where the same futaba 6ex should be available for 14000 approx. Kindly think over it again.

Regarding the charger you can buy something like a Duratrax ICE or any normal multi mode charger with balancer.. I think the link you have posted looks like a decent charger with all function and should suffice your needs..

The charger you are going to buy will be able to use 12V DC which can be provided through any Car battery  for field charging..

ENJOY!!!!!!!

do think abt it once again
please go through this forum regarding importing tx/rx and arfs
it will be better that u buy a tx/rx from a indian lhs rather than us/hk as it will be very very difficult and hectic to import it...
if u want to start low u can get the tx/rx availble with mr.sai

Was waiting for Sai to pitch in on this thread, as his input would be most relevant on this.

The hobbyking 6Ch 2.4ghz TX and RX is available on Ebay india for just Rs2999 only. However, i don't have any idea who the seller is. http://cgi.ebay.in/2-4Ghz-6Ch-Tx-Rx-Combo-Pack-Just-Rs-2999_W0QQitemZ270559203014QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_203?hash=item3efe95cec6.BTW My opinion is that you wait for 1 or 2 days bcoz Sai uncle is going to get the KDS 2.4ghz 7CH transmitter which is the same as the Hobby King 7CH transmitter. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10186&Product_Name=HK-7X_2.4Ghz_7ch_w/_5_Model_Memory_TX_&_RX_(Mode_2)_
However, if u have enough budget you can buy the Spektrum Dx6i or DX5e or the Sanwa RDS8000. You can use these radios for many years(except DX5e), when u get into more advanced stuff.

BTW Sai uncle if i'm not mistaken, u should have already listed the item in ur website(This is what u informed me through email).

Cheers
Rohit.

If you have the budget  a branded radio is a good bet .

Well if I were to start all over again I would not invest in a branded radio like I did when I started the Futaba Sky sport 4 channel for which we paid a hefty  price at that time is pretty much useless today considering the  wide variety of  radio's available now  with better features  at 1/3rd the price  I paid for it . Technology is changing so fast and users  want so many programing options now  a days .
Hence if I were to start again I will buy a Radio like the 4 channel 2.4 G  or even a 6 or 7 channel comp. Radio like KDS as mentioned by Rohit  and start with it  improve my flying abilities with them , understand how to use a radio  and  make up my mind that I want to continue in this hobby for a long term  before investing in the latest  Branded radio available at that time.

Having said  that  BTW  I have not used more than 5 channels in a plane till date despite having a 8 channel JR.

This is my point of view after having given the matter a serious thought " I literally  thought  of what I would do as newbie today "

ROHIT ,
The reason I have not listed  the KDS is because  all but 2 of them are pre booked  so as soon as they arrive I might actually be completely sold out on them , if they remain I will list them.
