I am new to the rc world. Was just testing my plane when my motor started to make a funny sound. Can any one tell me the different sounds made by a motor and their meaning. PLease

when did the motor start making noise? mid flight or initially?

i made the ft mini scout plane and when i handlaunched it just stalled and made a funny long sound just like singing a song. I bought this motor from RCBAZAAR http://www.rcbazaar.com/product.aspx?productid=4089 with a 30a esc. and i put 6x4 prop on it. did i overprop it?? the motor did become hot but not very much. ill try to find a recording and will soon post it here. please help

i think you have over-stressed the motors, this motor is only for a 2-s setup... otherwise it should have no issue with heating tbh... 30A esc are not recomended for these motors as a 12A esc would do u good... u havent overproped it...
