Hello guys, just like everyone i have tons of burnt motors, and it always breaks my heart to buy a new one.
So instead of buying a new one like always, this time i want rewind a motor. I did some research on YouTube, but it didnt help me much.I just want to know the basics, what are "ABCABCABC"s patterns?,is there any math for this stuff?.Please help me out on this one, please!

Firstly begin by finding a wire of the same 'g' thickness...
It's good to keep the winding same as was originally...coz it's optimal...
You can do things like increase torque..etc.byt that comes at the cost of efficiency..
I did a abc abc abc on my motor..coz it had 9 Arms in it..you gotta check to diagram. Fully understand ... difficult to explain in words ...it's easy tho. Worth it too

ok, i have a question, why should i connect or solder all the three wires after winding all the coils?,i thought those three wires are for esc.

Look, the winding is just like three phase synchronous motor. So, it may be star or delta.
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

RAHUL QUADY

What is the difference between a star and delta winding?,
and if i wind all of my coils and connect those three wires to an esc, wouldnit work?,and what about rotation, should i have to wind it in clock wise or anti clock wise?

Thanks Iyer, thats was helpful, now i know where to begin.
An dthere is one more thing, how do i know whether my motor is a delta or a star wounded?,if my motor is star can i do delta?

If you google "turn calculator rcgroups" you will find links o an excel sheet and instructions on how to use i. That should get you started. There's a lot of reading to do and a lot of youtube videos to watch.

star  / delta

all depends on what characteristics you expect from motor.
higher currents and better torque control  -or- higher voltage and better speed controls.

What about thickness?,why should i consider the thickness of a wire?,and can we use a copper wire for this?

What about thickness?,why should i consider the thickness of a wire?,and can we use a copper wire for this?

Thickness/ gauge of a wire determines the current draw and resistance. This plays a major role in defining the torque and RPM of the motor. For eg., a 20AWG wire has lower resistance than 28AWG of the same material.
For best results, use an identical gauge of the original winding.
You need to use enamelled copper( Copper wire with insulating coat) wire for this purpose.

so i need a screw gauge for this?,and what about any coating liquids for insulation?, not for the wire, but for the stator teeth.
