Well, I had made a plane myself. I used Corro and High density Foam to make it, but I didn't follow any plans. I just made as my heart desires  :giggle: :banghead:
Today I went for the maiden, checked the cg, hand launched the plane, it went straight up in the air and came down right into the ground. I think the problem was mainly because of the wing I had made. I will upload a few pics of the design.

So now,I want to make something that would be easy to fly,I know there is a separate thread for all beginners planes, but still I want to know which one will suit my needs more, here are the specs I have
1. Emax CF2822 1200kV motor

2. Emax SimonK 20A Esc
3. Rcb6i Tx Rx
4. 3S 1000mah 20C Lipo
5. Normal 9g servos

Together the electronics weigh about 250 gm.

The Lipo being 3S, I have selected a 8X4 normal Electric propeller (Cheap red ones). Can I use 10 X 4.5 in this configuration?

As building material,I have access to coroplast and 10mm foam. Please suggest me something That I can make , fly and be happy. I will print the plans this time, and make the model accordingly.
Main aim is to make the flight last as long as possible. Thanks a lot for your kind input.

The Wing was undercambered,as I read it gave the maximum lift, but I think the AOA was much greater.

Could you plz post the dimensions? What is the AUW?

You must have launched it nose up. Launch it at a very very slight upward angle, in fact nearly horizontal

Instead of jumping into design factors first eliminate any issues with basics

Wingspan 1000mm, wing area 22dm^2, AUW =500g

Does the pic look right? :help: :help:
