can anyone tell me how to find the takeoff angle for an aircraft?? is there a formula for it??

Mehul Anand

I think there's no such thing as take off angle..
If you have power to weight ratio 1:2 then 30° to 45° will be enough...
Is the ratio is 1:1 then any angle will be great...

i want to find out the height the landing gear thats y i wanted this.

Mehul Anand

Just 1 inch more than distance between prop and ground...
Can be more ...
Any angle would be good until the nose is horizontal or points up...

What you said actually means that "any angle is good as long as the nose is BELOW horizontal "

Perhaps you meant "as long as" instead of "until"!

Thinking in Hindi and posting in English often creates such confusion.  ;D

Your first suggestion is of course correct. But for a newcomer, it would have been clearer if you'd said:
"Legs should be long enough so that prop does not hit the ground when model is horizontal "

@naresh9807,
For a first model, it is better to avoid the undercarriage.

No legs, no wheels. Hand launch and belly land.
Strongly recommended!
