i am new here.... want to build a FT Versa Wing
I had a broken edf unit from which i extracted the motor,  it is rated @ 5100kv and my question is can i use this motor with a 6*4 prop ................. it was originally a 64mm EDF Unit ...

the motor can be used with a small prop (5x3, 6x3) but you need to have a smaller battery and ESC. ( go through the wings shown on Hobbyking site to have an estimate of battery and size)

you can have a wing made like this....

a heavy and big wing is more prone to break.
