hi

i want to mix two channel from my rx/tx ......
while searching i found that v tail mixer let us do the mixing....but i have no idea about how it works?...how it is connected?..how many motors can be connected to that??
can we use it to connect to 2 brushless motor..???
can anyone help me with the theory part,..???

hi,
can u confirm u want to run the servos or run brushlessmotors with esc's operating from v-tail mixing?

i want to run brushless motors.....with esc...

First of all, there is no difference whether the output of a v-tail mixer is connected to two servos or two ESCs.  A basic mixer takes in two inputs, typically the aileron and elevator controls. The output is to two servos (or ESCs), which can perform the function of both ailerons and elevators.

For example, when you give right aileron input, the right control surface (driven by one of the servos in the mixer output) will go up and the left control surface will go down at the same time.  And vice versa for left aileron input.

Similarly, for up elevator *those same* control surfaces will go up together.  This is the magic of v-tail/elevon mixing.  Using just two control surfaces, one is able to achieve the function of both ailerons and elevators.

The same principle can be applied to ESCs (and consequently to motors). In this case, a single motor needs to respond to multiple stick inputs (aileron, elevator, and possibly even rudder). That is why you need mixers.

hi,
I understand that u want to use the BL motors to maneouver ur plane. Now thats what the chineses rc planes do. So i understand that once on the v-tail mixing when u operate the TX as up, the v mix goes to the motors to spool uo thus increase the thrust, therefore climb and vice-a -versa. And for turning u operates to L/R so as to differentially operate the motors.
What u need now is a twin design ac, 2 BL motors with ESC  and ur mixer. I am attaching a rc dornier 228  twin motor  design, if it works ur plan. Check on the google for robotic equipment in india. u will get cheap BL motors, now try ebay HK for the ESC(u will get them very cheap) work out and let us know.
