AL HAM SHARI

Hello everyone,
I'm wondering which prop to buy for my FPV pusher plane. So, I'm planning to put the motor in the rear of the aircraft and use a pusher prop. But , there is no recommendation for best prop in the product description.
The motor is a 2200kv motor and have a 40 amp ESC. So, may buy a pusher prop or buy a normal one and put inverse. Can anyone recommend the best size for thrust , Is there an advantage for tri props over normal in thrust?

Are you referring to a2212 2200kv? 6x4 gives good g/w efficiency for that one. But remember, a good prop for a motor may not be the best one for your plane! There are several factors to consider for eg., stall speed, max. thrust requirement etc.

My plane has a weight of about 900 GM's incl batteries and thus has a high stall speed.

@al ham shari,
Saw that you are online.

May I comment?

@al ham shari,

1. An electric motor that can run either way doesn't care whether the prop is a tractor or pusher.

2. Stall speed does NOT depend on the weight of the plane. It depends on the wing loading.

3. Prop size has to be matched not only to the motor kv and battery voltage, but also to the model. Ie, its span, wing loading and proposed airspeed.

Sir it's about 60 inch span . I don't care how fast it flies. I only want it to atleast fly
