RAHUL QUADY

Hello guys,I was able to build my first quad successfully. Here are few pictures

RAHUL QUADY

Another picture,as you can see Iam using different escs on my quad and at first i thought it couldnt fly,but it did.

As soon as its airborne,it moves towards left or right for no reason,i mean its not ROLLING left or right. And I had few crashes, because of this problem,so most of the time i did not use my pitch and roll channels. When ever i try to move my pitch stick up or down, there is a huge change in its dynamics,i mean my quad moves violently, which makes it difficult for  me to control it.Please suggest me some pi gain values and some flight modes which are good for beginners.

This looks very nice, give us some video

@Rahul If you can share more details like what FC, Transmitter you are using..we can help you..!!
From your pic it looks like KK board and CT6b transmitter.
Firstly check that your KK board is mounted flat on the frame without any tilt angle.
2. Calibrate ACC while the board is mounted on the frame.
3. Check your sticks movements in KK board and use trims if needed.
4. If you are beginner make sure self level is ON on the KK board.

P.S I noticed that you have installed the four arms bit differently on your frame. Try and make RED RED and White White..this will help you understand the right orientation when you are flying..ie.. Forward and backward direction..else it might be confusing when your quad is away from you to determine the right direction.
try all of the above and let us know.

dude those different escs, may be a problem...
anyway, check your stick scaling and as @ashbash mentioned, self-level is best for beginners.

Thanks for your suggestion and so sorry for the late reply.I will rebuild my quad according to your suggestion. I just dont know how to use self level.

It isnt a "use", it is a feature that you can change, if you have it connected to a switch on the Tx, just flip that switch until your kk show "self level on".
What it does is that as soon as you leave your joystick, it levels the craft automaticall, rather than in acro when you need to manually level your quad.

As soon as i leave my stick,it either goes up or down,or sometimes it drifts for no reason. How should i include that feature into my switch?,could you explain it in detail please?

If you're using an FC without a GPS and barometer how can you expect it to hold position/ altitude? The best you can do is tune the PIDs well and make sure accelerometer calibration was done with the quad perfectly level

RAHUL QUADY

I know i couldn't have altitude hold, but i think self level is different from altitude hold right?,but anyways thanks for you help.
