Good After noon all of my Friends...it was my long dream to realize this craft, after seeing the XBOW ship, named Bourbon Orca..and my dream was delayed by some of my health probs..but now its time to do something..so i decided to go with my craft..
as usual, it was made out of thermocol..from plans based on real scale..but i reduced its tail a little to add a pulling device, to tow a big second barge...
Phoenix.........

roopeshkrishna

its almost finished in 1:35th scale...

roopeshkrishna

the motor is taken from the wiper assy of an autorikshaw, in to 12 volts, but reworked for 9 volts..prop made from aluminum lid, and a nozzle also added..
Phoenix.........

roopeshkrishna

rudder is driven by a toy gear box, via a tape belt...
Phoenix.........

roopeshkrishna

the whole super structure is made of drawing paper, later water proofed...
Phoenix.........

roopeshkrishna

after making the structures i started painting..all done by brush, in enamel paint...
Phoenix.........

roopeshkrishna

the heli was made out of paper...have to finish it...

now its time to wire the radio...it will take some time to complete the radio, as i can only sit up for a little time in a stretch..but i will do it faster as possible...i compleated the oscilator and esc, in to 60 Amps...
Phoenix.........

roopeshkrishna

and yes sure Friends..i will shoot some videos later, sure, for that i have to wire the radio circuits, and must need someones help to go to the pool side, and to shoot the video..but i will try to make it with someones help...

Roopesh  sir ...
I am out  of  Words ....
You  even being  bought all your  energy together  and  made this  wonderful  model ...  :salute:  :salute:

This  shows  your  dedication  for  your  Passion .... :goodjob:

Aji..its not finished yet...i have ample of things to do on it..i have to wire a radio system for it based on a toy RC..i hope, one day, i will collect some money, from my modeling, and buy a 4 channel radio..so i also will be like you all in a professional segment...but anyhow i will finish it soon as possible...but i cant situp for more time as back pain disturbs me a lots...but still i finish...thanks for the inspiration..once again..

fabulous roopesh!!, good going mate
Gusty's Hangar and Introduction.

A Good pilot will practice until he gets it right,
A Great pilot will practice until he can't get it wrong.

That pic was proof that you are human? :D

There is a lot to learn from you. The radio circuit is what im looking fwd too.

Splendid build. How do you water proof it??

sunk?

hi roopeshkrishna
that looks a good boat  :)
how does it handle in the pond?
what was the reason for the 'enclosed propelor' ? safty? protection?
good work ...own made hardware [ prop and shaft] and electronics  :salute:
a video of it running would be nice  ;)

Thanks for the inspiration Friends..and sure i will post a good video soon...Sir, the shroud around the prop is known as a KORT NOZZLE, actually i was doing some research, about the propulsion, and once found a great thing. by adding a simple piece of pipe around the prop, makes the craft more faster and torqued, in a same given voltage. this prevents the side thrust waste, by guiding the water towards its back.it also eliminates the problem faced by the angle of the prop. it also acts as a protection in rough dirty water, in a fast run.in my tests she is nice, powerful, and torquey.. i will build its barge soon...

waterproofing the thermocol hull is far easy, sir, i will post a clear article about making a hull from paper or thermocol, its easy, and yes radios and other needful circuits here...thank you..

hi roopeshkrishna .
thank you very much for the information about the effectiveness of the KORT NOZZLE, there are things you see on models and not sure of it's job and effectiveness, this maybe something to think about on my MAS  boat build.   :)
and double benefit of a safety element also, I was thinking of putting a 'deflector' astern of the prop [a curved plate that a servo could be used to lower from it's rest against the bottom of hull to stand behind the running prop and deflect the water forward] that could be lowered to enable reverse without a gear box or polarity switch [which I did on a toy car and was quite demanding to get the servo throw right.]
a rough drawing, it will be operated by a servo from over the stern of the craft possibly using a half round [curved] link rod

this seems easier to operate than the split kort nozzle type reverse mechanism.

OH MY GOWD...SIR..a million thanks for the idea in to my brain...offffsss....its so easy and sure will be effective...so, by today night, i will try to make a small, but torquey gear box, for this, as i do not have any professional radio system with me...so thanks for the idea and advice...its sure you can see this on my next craft...

here i am posting some final pics...showing the PWM based speed cont, and RX2B toy REC...and yes smoke generators...
