hi guys.
want to encourage the youngsters ? :)
go to this site for plans of 'sheet built' ..no frames to cut.........
and cheap ...can be made from coro or thick card and dope/thinned varnish befor painting.
free PDF plans of 1950's motor launches made at the time by keil craft

look good I'm going to do one and see how long it takes...these are set at A4 sheet and between 12" and 14" but can be scaled up to bigger craft.
