Anyone interested in making a model of INS NIPAT?

Hello there!

Nice to see you here after a long time - I think the last was when I built the Neptune from your plans (scaled up double) -  http://www.rcindia.org/boats/neptune-(scaled-up)-from-available-plans-in-sunboard/

Hope someone's interested in this. Challenging, but not overly so

Dodgy Geezer

I think it sounds more complex than it is - most of the fiddly bits are in the detail.  I note that I haven't actually given the link to the plans - I'll start another thread to make it clear that free plans are available... :)  The boat was specifically aimed at the Indian market - there aren't many model examples of one of your most famous boats...

Thank you for telling me about this plan. It is nostalgic to be back here again after a long hiatus.  :thumbsup:

@dodgy geezer,
Don't know whether to call you Dodgy or Geezer. Both sound equally rude. Hence

Dodgy Geezer sir,
Unbeknownst to you, you have awakened a sleeping giant after two and a half years.
Saw one of your plans yesterday. Inspiring!

@VC
Warm welcome. Sent you a few SMSs, then stopped, hoping you'd come out of your shell sometime...

Iyer sahab, I owe you an apology. The number on which you contacted me does not work most of the time at my residence due to poor Aircel network. Further, I lost that phone a couple of days after you had called me and with that went all the numbers. Thank you for remembering me.

@Sanjay Rai, Sire you were instrumental in ensuring that. Thank you!

We all need a rest sometime....  but I am hoping that we will see a number of these boats sailing around on Indian lakes by next Navy Day...!
