Good Evening all of my Friends and Colleagues..Wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....this is my new fishing trawler, and i consider it as the Model of Christmas, who brings happiness and prosperity to all...all of the efforts that i took to make this model, is dedicated to all of my Friends and Colleagues, to be graced in this Christmas and New year month..God bless us all...
as usual, i started with thermocol..she spans in to 2.5 feet, and 8 inches beam extreme. she is fully equipped, even with an MP3 player.
i fixed a RS 380 motor at first but it proved disastrous..so i rewound it in to 7.2 volts specs, and keeping a tip in mind, that, torque instead of RPM, so doing well..and this motor is heavily brushed, for long time operations..it drops only about 170 mAmps, so with a simple 2200 mA/H Li Poly battery, she runs for hours..
can see the cooling tubes over motor, is a simple solution for long time run..this tube is taken from, deep freezer tubing..
prop is made out of an aluminum vessel lid, and added a scoop for cooling water inlet...
started super structure..all paper..and base..foam board..
follows..
i finished this craft after taking a lots of research...and added some innovations from all over the world, while accepting some traditional formulas...
added the deep freezer pit..
ladder is from paper..
the horn is made from a little plated bell, intended to decorate the Christmas tree...
the whole winches are made of papers...
follows..
life rafts were made out of pvc pipe and paper..in scale..
adding the poles...i am happy that i got some good and clear explanations from my Friends..about this device...
added winch...
when not in need can collapse the poles...
and detailing the bow winch..
bow winch in detail..
anchor is again made out of brass rod and paper..seasoned for water proofing...
time to paint...
i used all enamel paint, is inexpensive...added some clay powder to achieve the matte texture...
the winches painted in signal red, and bright blue, as i noticed it from a real craft...
painting in progress..
i accidentally found two Diesel barrels on a real craft, and i added those also..it was huge one...
both drums were made from paper rolls...and detailed..seasoned..
finished winches...
she is completed..and waiting for a thorough dry...
the stand was made out of ply wood and hand painted with earth and black to depict the hard wood...

Friends..from my work, i hope all you can see how simple is to make a good craft, that in looks and performance..its a 100% scratch built, and no any expensive stuffs are used..cost of this craft to finish is..mere 200...all stickers were made by drawing softwares and took print in a laser printer, in an A4 sheet of ordinary paper...the ESC is hand made, and proved in my crafts, is 4 Amps, as the motor is droping only 170 to 200 mAmps at load...i hope all you may inspired now, to make some nice crafts...and this is my "MODEL OF CHRISTMAS", and my "MODEL OF NEW YEAR": is a huge tug boat, with real river crossing ability..so Wish you All a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....
