Friends..Colleagues....when i was a boy, one of the most inspired TV show..yes was the Super man..but, was not one..and one of the amazing inspiration was..yes..the episode from..KNIGHT RIDER..and as a modeler, i completed many KNIGHT RIDERS..as on wheels..but this is the first time i realize a KNIGHT RIDER on a hull..and whats a collection of models without a KNIGHT RIDER..? so i turned to my work bench..and she is an amazing one..
as usual, i started with thermocol..and the prop was made of washers and nuts..after test run i added two led weights about center line, to avoid rollover at high speeds..and this gave me good stability even at high throttle...
you can see the aerofoil like section made on a washer with pu putty..this gave me a high thrust even at low revs..
she is powered by a high power ECM, and i fixed it on a heat sink, scraped from a SMPS...
showing the simple rudder control..actualy the micro servo was not enough to pull the surface at high speeds..so i reworked some on motor, and rectified it...
i have 24 hrs a day, do you have 48 hrs?
the weight is covered and streamlined with pu putty..
started the super structure..all papers...
hi..hi.. :giggle: Sir, i sleep about 2 hours a day..go to bed at 3..and rises about 5 to 5 30...because my time is running out..have a lots to do..
the body is based on some imagination, but inspired by FORD MUSTANG...
i painted her by spray, by high quality poly paint..colour.. silver ghost...
she is controlled by a reworked 4 channel radio, and i added two more channels, with DR..for lights and horn..
in water...look how nice she is...
after shooting some video, back pain became intense..so i took some rest at seashore..
and got some nice photographs to my album collections...
see the photograph..
and at home back..still she is stunning..even at night...
added video..but add the link later..because of the poor connection speed the you tube is not loading... :giggle:
she is equipped with lights and horn...Friends see how easy to make a craft our own..make lots of crafts ourselves... (:|~
see the video..its not much fast as its too hard to shoot with one hand, while the other hand on TX..will add a even more good video, as i got any of my colleagues with me..

She moves so elegantly!
SUPERB!!!!!
Roopesh you the best! scratch builder of boats , probably in the entire world. superb
VERY impressive!
Thank you all Friends..Respected Veterans..for the great inspiration..once again..
Nehu, all of my boat hulls are made from thermocol, more clearly, expanded polysterene, is aquired from, my nearest town, Mahe, as this place is governed by Union teritory, the price for the building materials and electronics are too low. so every day ample of purchases takes place..and some of the main dealers are my Friends, actually, my scoolmates, so they reserves a lots of packaging materials, that we found in refrigerator, and TVs, for me..and for my professional purpose i purchase all thermocol sheets from shops..in to 1/2 inch to 4 inch sheets..is inexpensive..and all structures are made of foam board and papers..all seasoned..water proof...so light weight..and lasts for centuries, because no any external creatures cant attack the thermocol...like borers and termites..cool...and also gives us a good rate of stability..even at high speeds..and crash proof..
lovely ;)
Kudos
