This is the build log of my new fiberglass RC Tug Boat, 1st of all I want to thank Maharana Sir, for sharing his plans, and Ideas to deal with the fiberglass, though it was my 1st time with fiberglass, but some how I managed to come out with a hull made out of fiberglass.at first I thought it was easy, BUT ITS NOT, faced a lot of trouble with the air pockets and the release agent.
below are some pics

I tried to take out 2 part mould, but it failed (fibergass Din't dry), so I have to scrap off and make it again, then I fiberglass the whole thing and then cut it into 2.
some pics below.

excellent build  {:)} {:)} {:)}
another couple of builds you will be experienced enough to overcome things like air pockets, working within the cure time of resin etc.
All the best.

The propellers are 6 blades. The size looks like slightly big. But m gonna try these first

Cool! Change the screws to grub screws fitting flush. Will reduce imbalance and vibrations :D

Rooster

Good one.. Also see that you have grub screw diametrically opposite as well.. this will ensure balancing of the coupler.

great !!!

shaft angle looks a bit on higher side, it should be more parallel to water line.

desachristopher

1st test run seem to be OK. but there are some issues. water is coming in through shaft. for 10 mins run about 50ml of water. what if I put some grease inside the tubing, will it stop the water.

anyways here are some pics. uploading the vid. very soon
