Title: Outrigger Build Post by: Tarun Joseph on June 05, 2024, 02:30:16 PM Hello,
Good afternoon all, I've decided to go ahead and build an outrigger. I was thinking of a 4s setup as I already have a 4s 5000mah which I use on my car. I'm searching from where I can get an outrigger kit. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Regards, Tarun Joseph. Please see this 11 year old thread by one of the original members of this forum: https://www.rcindia.org/boats/scratch-build-atlas-van-lines-boat/ Forget about the battery. It’s the last thing you need to consider. Think about the size, plan, materials, motor, prop, prop shaft etc... You can get some ideas here: https://in.pinterest.com/pin/509188301630516915/ Start with a simple project, and don’t let difficulties deter you. Best wishes. Outriggers have sponsons, normally attached with CF or Al tubes
