Why don't you purchase a 4 ch Radio (2.4 GHz), later it can be used in many other rc applications.

4 ch 2.4ghz raio will cost atleast 6-7k, noway useful for this project

anyways do you want stick type or pistol grip radio?? what are you willing to spend??

you can get a 2.4Ghz 3 ch pistol grip ACErc PS3 radio for about 5k

let me give you a very sound market tip
buy a cheap rc car that comes with radio and reciever, keep the radio and reciever and sell for a thousand or two rupees less,this way ypu can save thousands

i needed a new radio for my traxxas summit so i bought a pheonix stII for 7k which had a radio(acerc PS3 cougar 2.4ghz) worth 5k , i kept the radio and sold the car for 5700/ in brand new condition, thus the radio costed me 1300 rupees.........! wow

this way i got the above said radio (which is sold separately for 5k) only for 1.3k
