this is my first boat :)
specs:
length- 600mm
motor- have to rewind a burned motor(brushless)
esc- 40A
material for the hull- some advertising board 5mm( some sort of plastic light weight)

this is a complete build log and i'm going to post lot of pics so its gonna be a long thread
started with the plans, the original planes are 1000mm so i scaled down to 60% i.e 600mm

pratap

to get the perfect fit the sections are sawed at an angle of 60 degrees

pratap

i'm going to use flex quick which is used for sticking banners to the metal frames

pratap

to get good bonding i used talcum powder as filler along with the glue

pratap

for the trim tabs i used heat sink from a psu

pratap

for the roll stabs i used a broken knife

pratap

for the stinger and shaft i used a gear with shaft sourced from an old printer

pratap

pratap

no it's not :)
it is some sort of light weight plastic i don't know what it is called but i'm sure its not foam board
the strength of this thing is great

I have no clue what this material is... What did you ask for and in which type of shop?

no its only the sheet
it is like acrylic (plexi glass) but with tiny air holes in it and it also handles fire very well cause when i tried to heat it and bend it, it takes so long
