Have something like this in mind. Open to other options also.

Request Boat experts to help pls.

is it a boat or an hovercraft??
even crashing requires a flight......

Suggest you look at a tug boat for rescue..Air boat would not suit this purpose. It would tend to get out of control during the rescue.
You can look at some thing like this

Aviator..for rescue purposes, an air boat is best..with multiple thrust control..its all easy..and can operate any water, even with weeds..a normal craft with a conventional prop never work in weedy water..a full covered thrust chambered craft will be even better, and can control with pinpoint accuracy..you can make one yourself within a day..a 1000 RPM, ECM, with 5 inch three bladed prop will do the best..a 12 volts 1.2 amps SLA battery will do very nicely, up to 40 minutes in controlled load..and the little extra weight of battery will give you a better control without drifting..cool...

you can fix the thruster on a 3/4 axis of the craft, with a HD servo, so can turn it all in 180 degree, and if you are using a 6 channel radio, you can slos add a manipulator arm, for removing any stranded things, or to hold your plane, or craft, can also add a cutter on it's arm..

Roopesh Sir, Can u indicate some full A4 size plans pls for the airboat. ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
I am a newbie in boats, hope u undertand... :salute:

a craft in A4 size will not do the job..if you are serious about a rescue boat, to save your water based planes, it must be a little bigger one..i already done some crafts for my Colleagues..all it are in to 38 inches long and wides in to 20 inchess..it will be a twin boat layout..and with a long gap, in between, so can lock the plane within the gap, to rescue..and if your craft is too small, it will not be able to deal with a rescue mission, especially, on a windy day..a conventional, rudder with THV will give you more 100% directional control, for a good maneour..can turn in 360 degree from a stand still..you can make it from foam board, and can add two more pontoons in both sides, for added safety..you can make one craft within a three hours or so..best electronics for this purpose is a 6 inch three bladed prop, with a 1000 RPM ECM, with a 20 Amps (theoratically) ESC..and can use a SLA battery is cheap, about 200 Rs for 12 volts..so, the craft will be some heavy, well within control..while typing and reading it seems as a big thing in making..but when you start to build, it will be esay as cake and eheese..if you need it i can make one for you..but you must bare the cost for the materials and electronics..with a Duplexed DXing 2.4 GHz radio, you can send this craft to kilometers away..
