Hi friends,

This time I am going to build gas carrier. Dimension is 1100 x 180 mm.
Here are some images of laser cut bulk heads and some images of perfection I got after adopting laser cutter. Will update step by set construction.

VC

Krunal great going! We need to talk. Will it be possible for you to cut some plans for me?

Great!!!! That will be awesome built. Did you buy laser cutter? And which material the bulkheads are made up of?
will be following this post. Good luck... :)

Gajjark

Since it will be a static model i have selected MDF 2.7 mm. Model will be covered by balsa only because i give preference to it only. going to update covered images very soon.

Keep watching  :hatsoff:

Why only static? We could really use a Tanker on the RCI fleet.

Thanks Prateek. Do visit again for more detailed work.

Here is little progress.

If you REALLY want to get into a lot of work and detailing, here is a page that you may find interesting/painful. Go for a Dome Tank Superstructure - it adds more character to the model.

Yes I am also thinking for the same. Have ordered some parts from uk. Waiting it to reach to me. Also adding copper tubes of 2,4 and 6 mm dia. To give it realistic look with white orange and red scheme.

Thanks for the support.

VC

Boss, I urgently need some copper (preferably brass tubes with inner dia of 3mm or so) for prop tubes. Available at your end? Pm me if you can help me. Can we talk now?

I have few. 3.01 dia. How long do you want?

Gajjark

Finally it will go with 4 dome. My work is going to be more challenging? It will require more detailing with prisision.  Feeling excited to move further.
