The grease should be on the input pinion gear and the ring gear on the diffs.

Great. I bet it runs a lot better than last time.

My motor mount is out, attached to my new motor. Just waiting to solder it up to my ESC. I will be soldering the motor wires directly on to the ESC so I'd prefer to have my father supervise me do it. It's been long since we guys met. We need to plan something and meet up once again.

Oh yes it feels a lot smoother. And it is a lot cleaner!
But off late I am starting to smile Wider at the sight of a heli. I want to move to something new.
Why do you want to solder it directly to the ESC?

I'll reduce one connector, 2 solder joints, 3 total points of possible failure.

It also makes for lesser resistance.

As u just said that u use 5000mah 2s lipo. Do u use this on a stock SPARROWHAWK XXT & do u have any idea as what CST should i go for front suspension if i have to go with Tornado

I did not use a lipo on my xxt.
I use 500cst tornado oil.

The only place i know of is ModelArt

While moving the ESC connector around, the two deans terminals touched a Nut and i saw a bright spark. No damage though

Must be the capacitor discharging.

Update:
I run the truck once in two weeks now, mostly on tarmac. Last weekend i took to a large empty plot - it was fun until a lady shouted at me in multiple languages about dust being blown into her house

The XXT is still going strong. No breakage or leakages to report
