Jato is a 2wd truck. I feel it is better to go with 4wd to handle all that power. If you like 2wd then jato should be ok.  The price on tower comes upto 17k. So adding customs and shipping to that will make it expensive. Buying from ThrottleRC is a safer bet.

But buying it locally would cost too high right and can u tell me which model you would prefer if u had 20k

Firstly i doubt the jato from tower will fit into 20k.

Secondly im a electric guy so i would buy a mini summit (since i already have a 1/10 scale rc).

If i were to buy a 1/10 i would buy a second hand slash or save up for a new slash :D

For nitro i would prefer a 1/8th scale - T-maxx.
For nitro i feel 1/8 scale will be better off.

The Jato is a crazy truck. Too much power for a 1/10th 2wd truck - it will pop wheelies everytime and spin around. Turning at high speed will be a problem. However some guys learn to tame this power and use it the right way. Some love the wheelies and straigh-line speed.
I do not like an 2wd nitro because my driving skills are not upto handling it.

Buddy it finally boils to WHAT YOU WANT. Listen to your heart and find out what TYPE of truck you need.
If its a 2wd 1/10th durable nitro the this will fit the bill :)

OT: Just noticed that the rustler VXL had been removed from traxxas.in :D

JATO is a nice truck if you are into straight line driving, top speed mania. The car can be driven offroad, but at ease onroad. It's 2WD, so don't bother racing it.

I assume you don't have any idea about importing rc cars. I advise you first check with local importer on India pricing and decide. Import duty had just gone up and becoming hard to clear. I have done many car imports. Trust me it's difficult now. I got my revo from India because import didn't make sense. India price was good. But if model is not in stock, case is different.

For less than 20k Thunder Tiger Eb4 S3 will fit.. Please do your research before you buy any thing.. Even LRP basic car will fit.. The import duty for personal items is 42%.. This % will be applied on the cost of the car with shipping.. Any brand that you may choose, make sure you have LHS has good spare support..
