Hey Fellow Hobbyists and Enthusiasts,

I own a Mugen MBX6 M'Spec Race Roller with a nitro Setup.
I recently bought another MBX6 (second hand) from the US and have plans to convert it to Brushless.
Have the Powerplant = Tekin RX8/T8 2650KV Motor and the Brushless Conversion = Tekno R/C E-MBX6 already with me.
I just received my mbx6 from the customs today and in the next couple iof days will be heading on with the build.
Will keep the post alive with daily pics of the progress i do.

Thanks

Imran

Thanks Guys:
Am first posting the Pics of the Stuff i got in the Parcel Today.
Bought this used Mugen MBX6 from a hobbyist in US via Rctech.net website.
Costed me 350$ + Shipping + Customs
Shipping=75$ USPS Priority Mail International
Customs= INR 3120/-

Got the Roller + whole lot of spares used and new in pack.
New in Pack include:
Front Lower Arms
Front Upper Arms
Rear Lower Arms
Fuel Tank
High Down Force Wing
8 Oiled Air Filters
Front CF Plate
Aluminium Chasis
Spur Gear

Used: Shocks X 4
Differential X 3
A whole chunk of more stuff.

Attached the pictures. Have started dismantling the stuff. Initial survey shows that i will have to piece apart each and every screw and part as the car has a lot of dirt and oilly residue. Will be changing the differntial oils also.

@Ajo: Bhai its gonna be a slow and steady build. Will take about 1-2 months for the final thing. Have my crawler also coming.

DAY 1:
Dismantled the entire rolling chassis.
Got each and every screw off the front and rear end as well as the centre gear box.
Checked each part for any kind of major damage and fitted back the Front Assembly onto the Tekno R/C Chassis.
This thing looks sweet.
Am planning to drop in 2 Hitec coreless servos for steering and brakes.
The Tekno R/C brushless conversion comes with the option of elektri clutch:- It has a fitment in shape of a flywheel that will fit onto the motor shaft and will have clutch shoes like normal nitro clutch shoes with springs and a clutch bell.
Due to this the acceleration is gradual and has a more nitro feel.
Due to the elekti clutch, a separate servo is required for braking as the clutchbell will turn freely when the motor brake is applied.
Downside is that my electric buggy will not have reverse. I surely can opt for the normal pinion but at the moment the elektri clutch is one of the latest technology used by top podium drivers.

Thanks

Sorry Guys for keeping this post dead for the past few days:
Been working on the car.
Assembled the rear end of the car and fixed it onto the Tekno Chassis.
Also fit the centre diff onto the chassis and got the motor and esc wires soldered.
Next fitted the motor to the motor mount and fixed in the entire elektri-clutch assembly - which was fairly simple.
And also dropped in the battery tray and just put in the battery i just received.

All's that is left in the car:
1) Assemble the shocks and fix them to the front and rear.
2) Place in the Steering Servo and the Brake Servo.
3) Fix the radio tray and the receiver.
4) Attach and solder a wire from the esc to lead to the battery connector.

At the moment the build is gonna remain the way it is in the pics as have ordered the Male Deans pigtail wire 12AWG and the Futaba Servos from towerhobbies. They shud reach me in abt 10-15 days time and then we are ready to race!!!
Do notice the difference in the original mugen nitro chassis and the tekno chassis. The tekno chassis is much wider to fit in all that is required.
