Get a center differential, get the aluminiunm toelinks, pushrods. They are the things I know.CHeck other forums and wait for answers from more experienced guys. Why don't you ask the people at Traxxas India? They are very helpful.

Are you getting the Revo from India? Basically the Revo is pretty tough for moderate to high bashing/racing. But for pure racing and reliability, they dont stand a chance against 1/8 scale truggies unless serioulsy upgraded.

But its the best Electric RTR for a combination of bashing and racing. Go for it. Check on Traxxas.com for the details on how to mod the Revo series. Amazing stuff.

get some new shims, also i'v heard of an upgrade wherein u can put a wheelie bar istead of your wing mount...i think this would be the best upgrade
what LiPo's will u be using?

If you buy a 2650 KV motor, you won't be able to run 6s Lipo in series.. Stick to the 2200 motor.. Its plenty fast!

Even on 6s,it will be hard to control. The wheelie bar is a no brainer. You just have to get it.The lipos(nanotech 70c)would be cool.

Thanx once again.  Well I have pre-ordered Turnigy 5000 2s lipos forthe E-revo, as I read about the review on the 3S... it tends to rip the CVDs.

[Admin Note] All caps post fixed :(

Not required to change the motor. Lots of things to make it go faster, gearing, batteries, tires, weight reduction etc. If you wanted to make your real car go faster, do you just change the engine immediately?? No.

For mods, Go stage by stage. So much power, you will start stripping things and wont be able to control the car. Remember Traxxas is full of plastic. Absolute power corrupts.

do u think getting getting good tires would increase the speed more than the speed increaed due to a more powerful and faster motor
i dont think so
i and my friend changed the motor on savage flux and the difference was in our hands

How about removing the lousy Traxxas offroad tires and using some RoadRage tarmac tires from Proline? And I never said tires were the only thing to try.

If you just swapped the motor for a powerful one without trying things like optional gearing, better batteries etc, you have wasted your money.

proline  holeshot give good speed but not that much

I agree with Ajo.Just changing motors doesn't help. The 2200 Kv motor is good enough for starting. And as Ajo said, absoulute power corrupts(absolutely).

See this video to see what the 2200KV and a 4S lipo is capable of on a much heavier car like the ST-1. With the Erevo, it will fly.

Nothing is required, Mamba Monster supports upto 6S. But you will need new drivetrain components and tires soon.

Flux is know for its backflips even in stock setup. Nothing required, just press the throttle, Crazy power... The issue as per most users is it makes the car very difficult to handle on a track. So more of a showoff car rather than a great handler like the ERevo.

ya , exactly even with a 4s,
but you cant call it just showoff please!
it needs some practice and then anyone can get used to it..
most of the electric monster truck races are won by flux or the e-maxx/e revo only
