Hey guys, souven here.
I joined this forum today, and wanted to ask abt where can i buy good rc car for beginners.
i do not have a huge budget, so please guys suggest me some good cars

Ramaraj

Hi

What type of car are you intrested in. Is it Nitro or Electric ?

A good Nitro will cost around 35 K - 45 K. What is your budget ?

pravesh736

decent nitro car range starts much lower in about 25k in india for 8th scale rtr buggies and about some 15-20k for tenth scale rtrs. high end rtrs like losi is 35k above.

electric cars are also a option, electric vehicles you can get depending on your requirements. examples trx slash brushless for about 25k-+2k. or mini slash vxl for 15k.
dont you have any car in your mind , some more details would be better to help you better.

Hi,

Get an HPI (Electric or nitro)...Its tough and parts are easily available.

You have to import. I don't think anyone has stock for HPI in India. I recently brought one for collegers.

If cars are not available where will parts be. What is your use and budget?
*Mugen Seiki MBX7 with Novarossi P5 engine*
*Mugen Seiki MBX6T M-Spec with Novarossi P5 engine*
*Mugen MBX6 Eco with Mamba Monster 2200kv*

*Team Losi 1/24 rally*
*Team Associated RC8 onroad GT Car, Team Orion power system coming soon...
*Hobbyking 1/18 Rally Extreme BL*

If you are looking for electric & your budget is around 30K, then go for traxxas stampede 4x4 VXL. Quite tough.

Otherwise, go for mini summit (~22K for brushless, ~14K for brushed). Brushed is waterproof too.
Brushed one is really good all terrain, all weather truck & later on you can upgrade to brushless when funds will flow in  ;)

Please contact Mr. Rahul of www.rcracinghobbies.com

He stocks HPI cars, monsters and parts also.

Also, if u are getting into this hobby keep a credit card handy as many a times u have to order online.

I have both Revo and savage xl monsters...

Personally, i like savage more than the revo...Easier to work upon and fix.

I have a question for you and would like your input.. I'm planning to buy Traxxas Slash 2wd (gonna be my first RC car) and plan on importing it. I've spoken to a couple of people and they say it will be seized by the customs department. I don't know how true this is. With the new baggage rules one can get stuff up to 50,000 INR into India and Slash is definitely in budget. It is really cheap in the US but don't know if one can get bring it here. So before I ask my friends to get it for me, I thought I'd ask here first. Can we import it without having to go thru customs trouble? Thanks!
Thx,
V

@virajkp, I have a slash 4x4 for sale complete with upgrades, radio, and lipo battery.
Just add your AA battery in the tx and it's ready to run.

Don't buy a 2wd, doesn't make sense. It gets stuck in rough terrain. 4x4 is better.
Have Pm'd you.
