I am planning to make an RC car. I am planning to use 12V Johnson motor of 200rpm. I've been searching for brushed ESCs of rating 12V 10A with reverse and break but I couldn't find any.
I'd appreciate your help. Please let me know if the specified ESC is a good choice or if I should buy the 320A ESC that I could find. Also, if 10A ESC is the right choice, could you please suggest where I can buy it?
Thanking You,
Malolan.V
Here you go.
For a single motor setup:
http://robokits.co.in/motor-drives/dc-motor-driver-20a
For a differential steering setup:
http://robokits.co.in/motor-drives/dual-dc-motor-driver-20a
You'll just need a :Rs: 200 arduino between these and your receiver.
Thank you so much, Mr. Swapnil.
This is exactly what I was searching for.
Thanks again,
Malolan.V
Glad I could help! :)
If I may ask, is this for a competition or just a personal project?

Any Source for a L9110 Chip DIP8 Package. The motor drivers came with a wrong IC in one on the kit.
Sandy sir, I couldn't find any sources for a DIP SMD L9110.
Found a link for a low cost L9110 based board, though. You might be able to desolder the chip from it.

Thanks Swapnil. Got a similar one with DIP8 Package what I need. SMD I cannot use on mine. Hope it reaches well in time to salvage the project.
@Malolan apologies for hijacking your thread. That was my last post on my querry
Good idea.
Mr. Swapnil, I'm doing this only for fun, not for any competition.
Though, currently I am going to participate in an RC boat race. Is it good to use EDF for RC boat? If not, please suggest a good motor and propeller for the same.
Thanking you,
Malolan.V
I don't know much about RC boats, but I'd never recommend using an EDF on one. I tried using an EDF on a hovercraft once but the control was really difficult.
I found some stuff at hobbyxyz. Check out the other Indian websites too.
