he is offering for 15k (a bit nego.)
is this a wise deal.
please help as i need to close this deal quickly.
if you can run and see...... its the best way.... check gears and tyres...
also closely see the body for any cracks or marks.

It's one year old how's the car condition check that, check for scratch all over on top of the body and under the tray, check the run time of battery check the threads of the tire if all is ok ok then go for it
Can you name the ESC again? Does it say VXL-3M? There's no brushless ESC called an EZ5 and Traxxas definitely doesn't make one of those.
A few pictures will help a lot with the decision.
And please remember that this forum is read by people from all around the world so please try to use English as the primary language so that readability is high.
Just go for it.. 10k is good deal and Make sure u have the spares cost.. Keep in mind u may have to replace the Nimh very soon, must have reached its life by now..
10k is great, just look that theres no serious damage, rest should be good.
As a beginner, you can check for the below items:
- Make sure that no part is fixed back with hot glue or epoxy. Specially the arms
- Also check if the gear tooth are not scraped off or at the point of going flat
- If possible, ask the guy to charge the battery full and run the car till the battery drains and note how long did it take to drain the battery
- Like other posts suggested, check the tires are not worn out completely (can be replaced immediately though)
- The chassis of the car is not damaged or bent
And other than that, 10k is a good deal....
thanks everyone for their valuable suggestion as mujeeb sir said will post some pics of the car quickly then everyone can decide further on this.
again i am a beginner so have the least amount of idea on cars.
regards,
sahil
utha lo bahi... jst check for the wear & tear also
Mini Revo is a nice car for basic running. Its very fast as well. 10K is a tight price if maintained well. Check the car beofre buying.

well sir im sorry for that typo the esc is VXL-3M? which is listed for 150$ on traxxas.
below is the direct link to it.

and i forgot to mention that he is providing an extra pair(2tyres) of tyres for free.
also he showed me the malfunctioning steering servo which he had recently replaced.
I strongly suggest buying a replacement mini servo. The Traxxas 2075 servo is notorious for dying out. Which tires are they and how much tread do they have on them?
You're good to go. Just a few pictures and I think you can seal the deal.

sir, e-revo has the Waterproof Digital Micro 2080 servo and not 2075.
here is the direct link

and i dont know exactly which is the replacement servo the guy has put up :banghead: though the size, color and dimensions appeared to be exactly the same. :headscratch:
i was not able to see the part number or the name.
My bad. The 1/10 vehicles come with a 2075. I meant the 2080 itself.
the 2080 is a decent servo . i used it in my 16th scale mini slash for almost 2 years now . but the 16'slash has much smaller wheels than merv so the load on the servo is less. if u want to upgrade servo, u can put two of the same servo as the car has slots for 2 steering servos or maybe just another higher end mini servo like savox, hitec(waterproof).
10k is a good deal . check the differential housing as its likely to break under heavy trashing, also check the steering knuckles pivot ball part front and rear for irregular movement, those break if it breaks[first hand experience] :)
Firstly i would like to know if you WANT a 1/16th RC? If this is your first RC car i would suggest a 1/10 scale irrespective of how good the deal on this E-Revo is.
If you are bent on a 1/16th RC then look no further.
Keep in mind that you may need spares down the line - please check spares costs to know get an approximate idea of how much you may have to shell out when(inevitable) you crash.
If the chassis, shocks and electronics look good you can go ahead.
The body may be cracked, tyres may have worn out, battery may be weak, chassis may be scratched - these are expected in an RC. It all depends on what is acceptable to YOU.
Without any snaps of the mini, this is all i have to say :)

sir,
i already have a 1/10 scale brushed rustler 3705 with me.
where as this car is brushless i was ready to buy it for the price he was quoting.
or else i would not have gone for 1/16 because its too small.
if possible i will swap all the internals between these two cars and make the rustler really fast.
and transfer the brushed system of rustler to this and this because of its size nad weight would be anyways much faster as usual.
guys,
my job with tata's has taken a toll on this dealing.
i was in Ahmadabad in Gujarat this weekend and he has a buyer who is willing to offer 12k.
so he is selling it to him. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
i m frustrated.
Mini E-Revo electronics on a rustler= Fail. Nearly zero parts are cross compatible across the rustler and the mini E-revo.

the motor is plug and play because the e revo brushed has titan 12 motor with same dimensions as my rustler and only change i have to make is of esc and not sure on the servo change.
The rustler's motor will work in this but not vice versa.
