New to RC. Looking for a decent sized SCT/Buggy.

Hello everyone. This is Harish from Coimbatore.

I am currently looking into getting my first RC car. I have been looking at RC cars since 2011 when RC youtuberRCSparks Studio was still named DJMedic  :giggle:

BUDGET : Under Rs.50000  I have looked at trucks from Traxxas, HPI, Axial.
Please do share your knowledge and help me out. Please also include your approx estimate of the trucks and where I can get them.

  • I have seen a lot of videos and I am leaning towards a SCT or a buggy/truggy (Not sure of the difference between these two).
  • I will be using it primarily on the road and sometimes in an open ground. Just bashing. No competitive racing.
  • I want it to be decent sized so I am thinking (1/10)th scale I guess. Please give your suggestions.
  • I wanted an electric car but I love the sound of Nitros and the smell so I am really confused. i have no one to help me with nitros but I am really good with tinkering so I am guessing it wont be a problem. I am worried about the fuel availability. Petrol cars like the Losi 5T would be awesome but i guess its very expensive.
  • I want it to be durable and also availability of parts must be there in case anything breaks
