Hey all,
Has anyone tried Thunder Tiger Wheels and Tires on any other trucks? A pair costs around INR1300 from Model Art and seems like a great deal. They have different designs as well.
I was not able to confirm hex sizes and am planning to check it out over the weekend. They look good and the tread seems nice as well. Will they hold up well on the Savage for bashing? No Racing.
Any ideas guys?
Tassem.
They should.Try to get yourself a hard compound.IF you've got around 2200 rs or so,go Proline.
Proline is great. But its 2200 for a pair. TT will be around 2400 for a set of 4. Plus they have easy off the shelf availability as well. I'm gonna go over when I can and see if there's one with minimal sidewall flex.
I'm also gonna check out if they have any other parts that are compatible. Pads, gears etc.. The ones that can fail easily..
Hope it works!
hmm......Look for a nice deep tread.
Where is Proline available for 2200?
Are you referring to the TT buggy tires(EB4 S3)? If yes, dont bother.. ST-1 tires work good for me. I still have my original pair lying around with decent tread.
I think Jayanth and Rohan have them for a price thats similar.

Nope not the buggy tires. I was talking about their monster truck range. However the Sledgehammer has a 23mm Hex size. I guess we get adapters for that?
If u can find adapters, go for TTr tires.
I'v had a good experience with many co-racers' tires on S50 though din had any experience with S28 chevrons.
S50 tires are pretty nice except that they offer a bit more roll on.
Since you are not gonna race, they are best. Try a soft insert with them. You will get best tires at a very cheap rate with no problems.
Proline good all terrain is not gonna be anything less than 3k for a pair
I hope ModelArt has the 23mm Hex adapters.. Else I'll try getting them online or I'm sure one of the members here can help.
I'm gonna go check it out this weekend. Wish me luck ;)
