Hi Guys
I got a Baja 5B SC RTR a couple of days ago and I put it for the first charge. But without noticing that the adapter said 120V..i plugged it into the Indian 220V socket...!
I later brought a 220-120 converter and tried charging again...but the receiver isn't charging...
Would getting another HPI adapter work as this one might be fried? or is there a chance that I have damaged the onboard servo?
I am worried! Any pointers on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated...Thanks
seems like your stock charger is gone
instead of buying same charger again buy a hobby charger with multiple options
you can get it at your LHS like this one http://www.rcbazaar.com/category/125-chargers.aspx
or you can try ebay.in also
let me know if you need any further help
regards

Was this car from US? Possible to receive the 120v version. These US companies try to save a few pennies by including such stuff with cars.
As recommended, get a decent multi chemistry charger. You can use in the future.
Thanks a lot for the responses guys...yeah...from the US...and a 120v only charger...I will get one of the models suggested...really appreciate the help and responses
