Found this superb piece of land less than a Km away from my home. The owners did not mind me or the Savage I was on the fone with Sid trying to get the tune right and bro took the Savage for a spin.

Thanks no crowd problem. If people do gather, I will just squat near the car and pretend to work on it till they get bored and leave. hehe.. Well you need a good track to have serious amounts of fun. Even electrics need them. Else you will just have to run circles on half throttle

But Nitro's cannot be run indoors due to the highly noxious fumes. They're strictly for outdoor use. With electrics you only risk running them into a wall or something. You cannot die from running an electric indoors

ok. Near my house too i have a public ground. But since it is a "public ground" i have serious crowd gathering problems. I used to run my previous MT (electric) there and lots of ppl gathered around as if its some exibhition. This is one of the main reasons why i am apprehensive about a nitro RC this time around.

Lol.. I liked the exhibition bit! But y'know what, the crowd will only gather at certain times of the day. At least that's the case with me. I have two three places where I get to run. So if one of the places seem to have people around, I go to the next. If nothing works out, I still have the land behind my house where no one would bother me

Yup. Ur right about the arowd gathering only at certain times. But this ground has a lot of people playing cricket. Almost until 7 in the evening. So IF i buy a nitro i can run it after that only. The only place where i can run without any crowd problem is in my backyard, but its no fun

Well you can always head over at the break of dawn! While nitro is loud, if the area is large enough the sound won't carry. I've tried it and it works. The only difficult part is dragging yourself out of bed

I remember my brother driving the slash.A small tap anywhere and I would go mad.If I crashed,I was just like ,"Nothings gonna happen.The slash is made to take this". As far as possible,I don't let him drive it.Not that he is a bad driver,I just don't like it when he drives.

Lol I am the elder bro and yup I was at the cam. It was a cellphone again cause we did not expect to film anything as this trip was purely to tune it. I was pissed at the end of the video. But for a totally different reason. I keep telling him not to speak when a video is being recorded. Especially if it crashes Cause it looks funny in the videos and I hate adding background music. The sound of a nitro revving is the best music around after all!

What's even weirder is that I encourage him to push it harder so that the initial hesitation is taken care of If he drives it with the fear of crashing, he wont drive well.

We should plan up a meet sometime. This area is really good and very large!! You can have so much fun with the Slash since you will have better braking. For me I can't really push it to the limit cause inertia would carry the savage's fat a$$ even if the wheels are locked!
