In response to this comment, the following thread has been started.
If you see any FULLY modded electric, you'll see JUST how cramped up things get.
Look at the 1st pic :giggle:

To each his own :) anyway one's your batteries run out you have atleast 2 hours on the bench ;)
@Divyam: That's crazy! How many lipo's is it running on ? he's even got a fan to cool the batteries!
Thats running on one 8s i guess. Looks like it has a series setup of two 4s. But i like electric beacuse it is simpler for everyday use. Putting so many accessories makes it pointless - for me atleast :D
Yup, 8s LiPo.. MADNESS.. That kinda power is barely even used in 1/5 scale applications :o
So, electrics CAN be made complicated.. Don't have to, but CAN be.. :)
Haha. Electrics are very powerful, there's no denying that. I somehow dont like to see a chassis so empty, so i said in comparison it looks empty.
8s lipo! But his car is SO fast it pops a wheelie everytime you hit the throttle. The speed is unbelievable!!
That thing must eat driveshafts(even CVDs :o )for dinner. The power is absolutely EPIC!!!!It stays true to the motto of Castle Creations,"Overpowering RC".That is one motto everyone should have. And its ESC is friggin' huge!!!
Yeah.. I wonder how he manages to keep his car intact.. :o

ESC, OMG! :o
Its a nuclear reactor and supercomputer rolled into one. ;D
Talk about low profile. 8-)
Nitro guys,take that!! >:D 8)
This is how to really run on water :

Man thats insane. Need guts to try it though :) We have many slashes here, anyone want to try? :D
If I got that ESC and tried to figure it out,my brain would explode!!! ;D
Thanks for splitting the topic Gandhar :)
I'll try water skipping once I stop treating my Slash like a baby >:D

I've got one word for you.'Paddles'.
I remember reading somewhere on the forum about someone in mumbai modifying his savage to hit speeds of upto 120km/h. Not sure if he's a member here, if he is all of us here are interested in looking at his car. I'm sure it'll be an " Insane Savage"
The insane savage won't be a match for this. This guy got it to 50mph on 30% throttle!!! :o
Yes, electrics are faster than nitros anyday :) i brought it up because the modifications carried out would've been similar to the slash.
would love to see it(savage) though.
Water skipping should be easy enough with sealed paddles and running on 3s i guess.
the sealing should give it some amount of floatation while the paddles give the propulsion.
the summit with sealed tires floats with no probs. so shld be easily doable with a slash as well.
nice stuff.. i always wanted an ultrapowerful vorza. many vids on this one guy running 6s on the vorza to get to 78mph. thats almost 130kph!. really insane.
the savage flux is cool for standing backflips and ultrahuge jumps.
