Friends..Colleagues.. Modellers..
what is the easy way to attain an RC car, with immense performance..? yes..have two options.. buy a simple toy car and load 4 dry cells, acts as satisfied with it's performance..
secondly, withdraw a 30,000 Rs from bank, and order for an expensive car and wait a little, and after getting be in a self satisfaction.. if so, what will be the rate of satisfaction, that if we can make a car with dramatic and immense performance..? all our self..? and with all handy materials and things..? great..
so, i was decided to finish this one far before, but was tied up in many modelling projects for Friends and as professional.. but now realizes that shutting down my creative side is just like putting an end to my life.. so, i divided my day in to two.. 8 hours for professional works and rest my creative works.. so great RCYING.....
here i started with some scraped toy parts, and wheels for saving some time.. at first the motor was chosen from my collection, but later replaced with a reworked motor.. i am thanking to my Friend Mr Sunil, for the cool motor from an old VHS VCR.. i reworked on it as for 4.8 volts, 3 Amps.. max..so, immense power within reasonable battery consumption.. and hours of pleasure..of RCyinggggg....
here, i spend about Rs 150/- including painting.. the PU paint costs most, but all others were handy.. the chassis of the car is by foam board, and top is all paper.. at first my intention was to make her as a track racer.. but after full installation it came as multi role because of her's immense performance.. so, i changed my mind from as a track racer to anything as track racer.. drifter..sand rider..gravel buggy.. and onroad racer..
i never used any suspension here as the tyres are too soft with.. and here this one shows we do not need a differential, for light vehicle, as you can see the performance of the vehicle under various terrains.. when we thinks about a car, or a land vehicle we instantly thinks about differentials.. but i was making lots of cars and vehicles without differentials because of the lightness of the craft.. !!
the front steering assy was taken from a toy and reworked with a reworked servo, for a greater torque.. a simple brass rod drives the steering strut..
can see the old reworked motor...
the chassis from foam board.. this gave me some flexibility without suspension..
the bottom cavity gave me the battery compartment..
after test rides i came to know about the potential of the machine.. so i decided to make a body accordingly, instead of a full cover saloon..so, a dry run with a paper template is a must, as this trial gave me a good view of final shape and proportions..
all tyres removed for painting of the discs..
all discs were painted in odd silver to get a racy look..
all body panels are papers..
body is designed as conical, for easy repair, while keeping all aspects of aero dynamics..
on chassis..
various angles..my intention is to make her look stunning...
after making all clear, water proofing is performed, yes because this craft is intended to take at sea shores to pump out in beach.. only such a place can hold her's speed.. she is so fast..
water proofing is done..
as applying PU paint a base coat is a must.. and first rough coat is sprayed..
the crash guards were from brass rods and foam boards..
the same at rear.. all are kept light..
all stickers were done by softwares..and printed in an A4 paper.. cut and paste with scissors..
the final colour is the mettalic vera blue, is a basic colour of Subaru Imprezza, is my ever favorite car..
after clear coat she is ready for the show..
can see how stunning she is..
more photographs..all done with Rs 150/- maximum..
close ups..what i need else..? nothing..
back view..
the chubby body became the ever stunning angles of this craft.. i love this one much..much..
some more photographs..
it is powered by my favorite pet.. Futaba T6 ET..
used a parabolic antenna with receiver to eliminate the cumbersome antenna.. the ESC with reverse, traction control avoid slippage in normal mode all are hand made.. she is also equipped with a horn and high power head light from L E D strips..
scale versus real..
will she works to expectation..? see the first video.. will add one by one as i got some one to shoot a video..

hey its amazing.......,,
great work.....
congrats,,
Wow! Post some more videos please.
Hey..RC car lovers..its time to make a car own.. no need thousands of Rupees..only some 200 or so.. works fine..and can make all up to our imagination and needs.. spare parts..? all handy.. material..? all handy.. i clearly know, if i want to get a car with this size with this performance, it is sure to spent at least a 20,000 Rs/- but here i spent about Rs 150/- and being in the sheer pleasure of RCying...so, dont be lazy.. rain is coming.. time to make boats and cars to operate in rain.. will be much funny.. so, here you can see, how easy to make a car ourselves.. need not any magnesium struts.. brass gears.. expensive stuffs..wander a little in scrapyards.. collect some toy parts.. wheels.. and sit in palace with calm.. think.. imagine..dream.. go for it..rewind the motor..make ESC.. fix battery..all this took about two hours.. paint it and yes RCYITttttttt... and yes here i saved at least..19,850 Rs/-..hoooy...... make one..and RCyit...
Raja..videos are on the way.. i need someone to shoot the video.. will add later.. at maidhaan, and at beach.. she is so fast, so, cant handle camera and Tx at once.. its all easy to make.. make one.. and RCyit...
thank you all..i posted it here not to show that i can make this, but to show you all the simplicity of making a model in a simple and inexpensive way..look how easy.. so make one own.. no..a lots..
{:)} amazing, :hatsoff: I always wondered an entry level bike/scooty costs around 25K, and a real person can ride on them. A RC car costs around same...why? Cant find the answer till date...
Hello Roopesh,
Very nice car with really nice body work !!!! {:)} I have been new to this hobby and intend to make such things but bit short of time at the moment :-\.
I liked your car very much one question did you put in a rear drive gearbox or its the stock one .... differential gear, Bushes etc... I am sure at the speed you are driving it, it will wear the plastic very soon....
Any idea on how to get good differential gear box & a front steering assembly ? i googled a lot but didnt find a good answer.
Happy RCeeying!!!
Last question why call it Mousee?
Amit.. nothing to be amazed here.. all you can see.. and works well .. also can see.. so, as modellers we must go to the extreme that we can go with our modelling.. see here how easy and simple all.. if you spend a little time on modelling anyone can make good models.. guarantee.. :salute:
@roopeshkrishna sir I was not amazed at looking at the car! The amazing part is your ability to make modeling so affordable and doable for all.
As usual, fantastic creation Roopesh!

{:)} {:)} {:)} {:)} {:)}
Roopesh Sir, you always come up with stuff that leaves me(and pretty much everyone out here) in awe. Your work proves that dedication and passion makes everything achieveable.........and this little beauty of yours is a sheer example of the fact. :hatsoff: :salute:
Sir, how do you calculate the motor specs like volts, amps etc........do you use some kind of software or its just out of knowledge and experiance?
And what kind of motor you have used here, brushed or brushless?
Rastsaurabh , you are absolutely wrong with your conclution.. i was making land based vehicles from years before.. all from toy parts.. and if you choose the scraps with some idea, it will last for a life time.. the above mentioned craft is not simply demoed here.. i was testing it in a gruesome manner, for days, as you can see the sand and dust on wheels in first photographs.. nothing is happened, after many hours of drive.. even now, my daughter is on it.. recharge..ride..repeat.. we always simply under estimates the plastic parts, used in good toys.. but if you examine carefully, will find the quality and finishing on many things.. if you can make an ESC with blast stopper, at blipping of throttle, no any gear will blows off.. try to use HD gearboxes with powerful motors.. the only head ache that i faced with my cars is the wear of tyres.. so, i always choose the tyres, for my crafts, that can be attained at least 8 in numbers from scrapyard..so, 4 kept as spares.. so, it will run for years..
and you do not need any differential for tiny crafts.. here i havent used any differential.. still you can see how pricsise she is..
if you looked in to net, pricing will be shocking.. can find many differentials from scrapyards.. or you can make one, with HD silicon gears, that found in autorickshaw wiper assy, with two additional gears.. or can make a toothed belt differential.. or can use simple two identical gear boxes with electronic differential control.. lots of option..
and called Mousee.. because i love the Mother Nature to a great extent.. so, as mother nature is a female representation, of mother hood, i conveys all my crafts to Mother Nature.. so, if you look carefuly, yopu can see the shape of a little mouse, with a sharp nose, a chubby, cute, on this car..
thank you all respected Friends..
VC Sir, its honour from you.. always.. like an award.. for my humble works ..
Bilal.. i do not have any softwares to calculate the motor reworks.. its all came from my years of experience.. that even anyone can achieve.. by looking in to the thickness of the winding wire, number of poles, core area, it is easy to determine, the winding criteria.. here i used a brushed motor from an old VHS VCR.. all metal cased one.. in these types of motor, with 26 SWG in three poles, of 2 cms, 42 turns is enough for a good thrust at 4 volts,..can even increase the thrust with 20 SWG with less turns.. but make sure the brush is capable.. if not can add gold graphite studds from a scooter starter motor.. will work..
Congrats Sir,
I wish some day I see 4WD car build by you in this forum, with all features which available in branded Hobby cars

Thanks once again.. GB working on a 4 wheel drive amphibian..
Roopeshji Really Awsome
Swiz.. nothing is serious.. all simple.. as you see.. anyone can make..
Rupesh, :) you rock man, you rock {:)}!!! Yes, apples fall down from the tree everyday but it needed one Newton to think of something called gravity. It needed patience, application and intuition, of course, along with some luck. (Money ??? I don't know really) :hatsoff:
essaargee.
thanks for the great inspiration Essar.. for scratch building we need only a little money.. and in this occassion i faithfully and gracefully remembers all of my respected Teachers, Colleagues, Friends, and all Modellers who inspired me, and helped me a lots in model making.. once again a million thanks for the kind words.. and i dream my humble works inspires us a lots..
roopesh sir ur great
great work sir
