Hey Guys

Have a interesting question for you all--

Which is a better car and WHY?

A) Traxxas Revo 3.3
B) HPI Savage 4.6 X
c) LOSI LST XXL

Do post you feedback ( btw all are nitro 1/8 scale models)

Also do keep in mind availability of the car and spares in LHS as a criteria..

My vote goes to the Revo 3.3. I've seen them in action and they rip!

Guys, you must also mention the reasons why one is better than other.

My take - Racing: Revo > Savage > LST
Bashing - Savage > LST > Revo

Reasons: For racing, nothing comes close to Revo, lower GC, lightweight, peppy engine. For Bashing I say Savage because its all metal, higher GC, has very good 3rd party upgrades. Nice Torquey engine. LST is also great. Huge shocks, good GC etc. But Savage takes the cake.

In a straight line the savage and revo evenly matched, xxl is a bit quicker. Bashing wise, nothing comes close to the savage. Racing wise it is the revo (upgrades required).

So i agree with Ajo.

overall - savage  > revo > losi
bashing  - Savage > losi > revo
racing - revo > savage > losi

Exactly. When I wanted a MT, I wanted the Savage. But due to stock issues, chose the MTA4. Was done with it in few months.

Later when the MT bug bit me, I wanted a race MT than can be bashed. I had a choice of untouched LST for 20K. But the Revo was personal preference. I bashed and raced it. Even with a partly broken arm it ran flawlessly. It never let me down and still continues to run with someone else.
