I took the values form GS racing table - but it does vary as said above.

Rebuilt the shocks with 500cps oil today. I was told by another owner that the shock cups pop off due to lateral force and not because of oil pressure. Used tape to secure the shock cup as of now. Hope it works

You will have to wait for a while buddy. Broke the front bulkhead even before brushing my teeth Was driving up and down the street and it bump steered and rammed into the rear tyre of a parked activa - front bulkhead snapped. Love this truck Was quite fast when it hit the active and was purely my fault But the shock mod worked though. All those bumps and ditches yet no leaking

Anyone has a front bulkhead for xxt?

How does it feel?

Haha i ordered for the replacement from the TT dealer i posted about. He will get it soon. Told me it was Rs.400 for the front set.  It has a mix of Hex and philips. Changing to all hex is a mod i will do in the late future.

Yup first kaboom Will try using Super glue or epoxy to fix it. Im pretty sure it wont hold but no harm in trying.

Few observations:

1. It comes with a grease in the - no oil.
2. Shocks are too exposed. Any frontal impact hits the shock or the ball pivots directly. Not a good thing at all.
3. There is quite a lot of bump steer. Am i doing something wrong or is this common to all cars? Any adjustments to make this better?
4. The RTR does not come with a turnbuckle wrench. I feel it should be included.

Update:

Araldite did not work Didn't last for 30 seconds on road. Spare part has reached the dealer. I will pick it up on Saturday

On the bump steer,if it is an issue with the XXt,I'm not sure what can be done.On my slash,there is a slight amount of bump steer but Slayden's setup eliminates it.

From what i know and understand, if your steerng has a lot of movement on neutral w/o servo engaging, its time for a new servo savr.

Will look into that. Thanks Arpit. The ply is irritation. 1mm op ply at the servo saver becomes 3-4mm ply at the tyres

Changed the bulkhead 2 weekends ago. I have used some lubrication oil in the diff. XXT has a superb drive train - beefy.

No damages to report.

Any idea how to get rid of the scratches from the body?

This is how i carry the truck around.

I tried spraying a little wd-40 on the body. Seems shinier. The only way I can think of to reduce the scratches is to sand the body on the outer surface(very lightly). It makes your plastic parts look new too BUT people say that it weakens plastic. So I won't use it on plastics but would mind using a little bit to make the body shinier.

Will try the WD-40 first. Will also try some of my dads bike polish Still looking for a heat sink. I want to buy from within the country. If i dont get one soon will check ebay.com . Want a blue one to add bling

RTR at forum will cost 15-16k max without batteries. They sell a NIMH 3600 battery + wall charger for 3k which is not value.
But to be honest i feel its better to save up for a better truck. Possibly a jammin or slash. I find it worth because i bought it second for a lot cheaper.

Better to start off with a good car than outgrow a cheaper car fast and have to buy a new one.

Dhaksha: Look out for good used car deals. For 15k, if your REALLY lucky, you could even get a Slash 4x4!

Still, the XXT isn't too bad either. Right, Rajath?  

Its definitely isnt bad but i feel its better to buy a car thats harder to break and with better shocks

To answer my earlier question about keeping the body shiny - BATA instant shoe shiner sponge works GREAT! Cost Rs.45 and will last for ages. Worth using it
