Awesome! Great to see another Slash 4x4! :D
Action pics! Vids!
SWEET!!!!!Take good care of it :)
Congrats!! Now lets get her dirty!!
NO!!!!!!Keep her squeaky clean ;D
Noooo!!! That's a crime! Not only do you convert nitro heads to battery, but now u ask them not to get it dirty!! That's just cruel man ;D

My plan was "From the box to the beach". >:D But after seeing its body glazing; :o I temporarily quit that plan. :giggle:
Well,we consider converting nitro heads to electric a gift to society ;D
But asking people to keep their off-road cars clean is debatable :-\ ;D
All jokes apart, take good care of it and it will give you hours of fun.Waiting for more pics. So,you're the 5th guy on this forum with a slash 4x4(the other four are Siddharth,Jayanth,Divyam and me)

You can always leave the body at home and take the car to the beach ;) But the salt is not a good thing.. You need to find yourself a nice ground to let it loose..

A society without nitro heads is no society!! Its blasphemy!
The body will save it from the sand.I suggest you do the tube mod( post #5 to #7 http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1022324) before you take it off-road.The sand will get in and eat your bearings after a few runs.
A society with electric junkies is a Tier III civilization. ;D
There is something about new cars that brings out the funny side in us 8-)

Amen to that!
Congrats on your new car! Nice body :) please drive this faster than your sparrowhawk :P
Yes surely. The Sparrowhawk was not Water Proof. So I feared to run fast near the waves...!!!
Some more pics, and also of my little fleet.
Nice collection. What monster truck is that? And the slash is gleaming!
Congrats on the new 4x4 :) Its massive!!!! Remember even this is not water proof. Take care of it else Gandhar will pay you a visit :D Good to see so many with one car, lots of learning potential.
Nice fleet you got there.
Red one is a losi?
That is a redcat i guess. How does it perform?
Thanks you all..... :salute:

What monster truck is that?
It's a RedCat Earthquake 3.5, surely a nitro.

It's the Cen MG-16 nitro.

I'm not friendly with my nitros. The tunning is a bit difficult for me and sadly I didn't have a ride even at once. Thinking of an electric conversion.

Tuning gets easier as time goes by. I think you should have both Electric and Nitro.. Gandhar will talk about society and all, just ignore him completely! ;D
Ahaha he's not the only one! :D
Electric conversion! :D
Keep at least 1 of them nitro.. Or you're gonna miss it! :giggle:
Isnt it better to just sell them than investing in an electric conversion. Since you already have two electrics you can get a electric kit car next.
You can give tuning a try, meet someone who can help you. Everything is easy once you understand so dont lose hopes yet :)

You should be in touch when I am in town next (certainly in July, probably before)... can certainly take a shot at this !
Thanks Anwar Sir.
Hi,
Nice to see this, thats wht i wanted to know what all do u hv..
BTW, slash color is really nice, its my favourite.
A little bashing (one a portion was uploaded), and the aftermath.
http://www.youtube.com/user/MrAksona?feature=mhum
Awesome...looks cool...when do u plan to start upgrading..
cool car. i always like staduim trucks... kinda planned on the slayer or slash before i shifted to the savage.
and btw, nitros rule. electrics can be furiously fast. but runtimes are very short and the batteries are very very expensive.
i was on tour most of last month. hence less rc activity. yesterday, i pulled out my savage and started her up. single click of the roto-start and she roared to life.... thats tuning. :)
and tuning is really easy with HPIs. at least my experience is great. only down side to nitros is that you can use them indoors and they are a pain to clean.
Thanks Siddharth..... I didn't think about an upgrade yet; since sometimes the car is beyond my control. :giggle:
No point upgrading a car within 2-3 days when you intend to bash it softly in your backyard. IMO, Waste of money.
BTW Arun Sir, nice vid, though cant find any bashing in it lol :D still a lot better than your sparrowhawk Vid

I'v Heard u fiddle with needles excessively trying to break in again and again, pls dont do that. It will heart your F4.6
Nice to see your car in action :) was it running on stock batteries ?
The first view pictures show some other batteries, not stock, but he is gonna run Lipo soon.
The one with the green wrapping looks like a NiMH pack to me.Can see the individual cells.
It is Nimh pack.

yes. that was in the start. i always kept her too rich and she would overflow while trying to start. then i broke the one way bearing for the rotostart. once i got the new one fixed, i leaned out and now shes tip top.
but back to the topic. how is the exceed madbash? and the duratrax evader? both seem pretty cool.
@ ANTA. how much did it finally cost you? all inclusive.

Arpit, I will correct my concept about bashing. :giggle:
@Shashank, Yes it is running on stock batteries.
@iamahuman & rajathv8, You both are right. The green wrapping is a baloon since I was planning a beach ride; but my mind didn't allowed me and finally cancelled. :giggle:
@ShutterX, 25K.
Where are the servos for steering located on the car ?
At the front.. Check ANY chassis pic.. Its the only (I think?) blue thing on the car :giggle:
EDIT: Other than the shaft and motor :giggle:
Yes, also see the link in reply #10.

Its the only (I think?) blue thing on the car :giggle:
and a small part at the front bumper.
That small blue thing covered by something black ?? In my car its on the right side of the chassis and its too huge to miss. If we meet at the track may be you guys can shown me then :)
OT: Chassis of electric cars look so empty when compared with nitro ;D
I kinda like it that way. Lesser the stuff, easier to clean , nore time on track, less on bench :)
Gratz on the purchase dude. :)
but please rethink the idea of getting it wet in sea water. salt water is very corrosive and would require high maintanence.
[Moderator edit]The crazy slash has been given a new topic for itself.Let the discussions on that continue there. :)

agreed. more time on the track... but even more time charging the batteries. and the only option is going for multiple batteries... and that costs the world.
electrics are awesome. but on the long run, kinda expensive.... (if you are someone like me.... requiring max performance)
If you need high performance for a long run on a regular basis electrics can be expenssive. Costs can be reduced if batteries are taken care of.
I still prefer electrics as ease of use is a priority for me as on now.
