Awesome...looks cool...when do u plan to start upgrading..

cool car. i always like staduim trucks... kinda planned on the slayer or slash before i shifted to the savage.

and btw, nitros rule. electrics can be furiously fast. but runtimes are very short and the batteries are very very expensive.

i was on tour most of last month. hence less rc activity. yesterday, i pulled out my savage and started her up. single click of the roto-start and she roared to life.... thats tuning. :)

and tuning is really easy with HPIs. at least my experience is great. only down side to nitros is that you can use them indoors and they are a pain to clean.

Thanks Siddharth..... I didn't think about an upgrade yet; since sometimes the car is beyond my control. :giggle:

traxxrc1

No point upgrading a car within 2-3 days when you intend to bash it softly in your backyard. IMO, Waste of money.

BTW Arun Sir, nice vid, though cant find any bashing in it lol :D still a lot better than your sparrowhawk Vid
I'll be back.

I'v Heard u fiddle with needles excessively trying to break in again and again, pls dont do that. It will heart your F4.6
I'll be back.

Nice to see your car in action :) was it running on stock batteries ?

The first view pictures show some other batteries, not stock, but he is gonna run Lipo soon.
I'll be back.

The one with the green wrapping looks like a NiMH pack to me.Can see the individual cells.

yes. that was in the start. i always kept her too rich and she would overflow while trying to start. then i broke the one way bearing for the rotostart. once i got the new one fixed, i leaned out and now shes tip top.

but back to the topic. how is the exceed madbash? and the duratrax evader? both seem pretty cool.

Arpit, I will correct my concept about bashing. :giggle:

@Shashank, Yes it is running on stock batteries.

@iamahuman & rajathv8, You both are right. The green wrapping is a baloon since I was planning a beach ride; but my mind didn't allowed me and finally cancelled. :giggle:

@ShutterX, 25K.

Where are the servos for steering located on the car ?

At the front.. Check ANY chassis pic.. Its the only (I think?) blue thing on the car :giggle:

That small blue thing covered by something black ?? In my car its on the right side of the chassis and its too huge to miss. If we meet at the track may be you guys can shown me then  :)

OT: Chassis of electric cars look so empty when compared with nitro  ;D

I kinda like it that way. Lesser the stuff, easier to clean , nore time on track, less on bench :)

ajit4647

Gratz on the purchase dude.  :)

but please rethink the idea of getting it wet in sea water. salt water is very corrosive and would require high maintanence.

agreed. more time on the track... but even more time charging the batteries. and the only option is going for multiple batteries... and that costs the world.

electrics are awesome. but on the long run, kinda expensive.... (if you are someone like me.... requiring max performance)

If you need high performance for a long run on a regular basis electrics can be expenssive. Costs can be reduced if batteries are taken care of.
I still prefer electrics as ease of use is a priority for me as on now.
