1)Well,its got treaded tires instead of the slicks.
2)The motor seems to have been changed to a brushless one.  {:)}
3)Seems like the motor mount has changed. :goodjob:
4)It looks you've made your own motor mount.  {:)}
5)The ESC has been changed and has a traxxas plug. ;D
6)Looks like you have a turnigy lipo. :)
7)And you have a Spektrum receiver.(Not completely sure) :-\
PS:I was wrong on #7.Its the stock Rx.

The third picture shouldn't have been given.I did figure out the change in the mount in pic.2 but pic made it obvious. :D

Damn Gandhar beat me to it!
The most noticeable differences were tires, Brushless System, LiPo and TRX connectors :D

Reciever is ACE RC 4channel, Tires are pretty cool.

Power system looks like a turnigy track star with a hardcase Turnigy Lipo
Zipties instead of battery strap cz lipo is too big for the strap screws. Though you can change them too 20mm screws which might serve the purpose.

Is this the same sparrowhawk chassis?
A video is definately needed here :)
How does it perform? Is a brushless conversion really needed for drifters? The run on smooth surfaces so speed shouldnt be an issue even with brushed setup right?

Rajat, when you are running with locked diffs,a brushless is the best.Reason being more power required. Also, the more overpowered a car is,its easier to whip its tail out. ;D  That quick burst of throttle gets the car 'sideways'.

All of you right on everything.

the longer screws wont help with the battery as the top plate is obstructing the top of the battery.

Its a 4370KV BL motor from Hobbyking running on a Turnigy Trackstar 60A ESC.

Batteries are 2S 5000mah 30-40c Hardcase Lipos.

the motor mount was fabricated from SS.

@gandhar - will have a few vids up as soon as possible. been travelling a lot.

currently running on a 17T pinion and a 72T spur. will be going to a 23T pinion soon.

Present issues:
1.the motor mount needs to be altered a bit as the mesh setting is a bit tough.
2.the chassis has a small opening right below the spur and on our less than perfect conditions its picking up small stones and getting damaged.

Be careful with the change.6 teeth can make quite a change.
