I'm sure in a few years it'll be a punishable offense for not taking your car to its limits!  :P Lets have some high speed videos!  Not at the beach though. Cleaning all that sand will be a royal pain! Not to mention damage from the salt.
Terrain? If I cant Slash it, I'll Savage it!!

You can expect its speedy run video soon. Yes, cleaning the sand is really a big problem. :banghead:

Remove ESC and reciever and wash with water, then wash with diesel, then again with water and blow dry quickly with a min. 400W blower.
Your car would shine like new
I'll be back.

And today was its overhaul. Rust on some parts due to my laziness to clean it on the same day.  :banghead:

It is kerosene and for the easiness of cleaning.

Hey why diesel? :)

+1 to that. I've always seen mechanics use petrol to clean cars, though i've been warned it will burn the rubber on our RC's. Really curious to know why you used diesel or kerosene

My bro told me, diesel/petrol/kerosene serve same purpose, diesel is a bit cheaper so he uses diesel.
It kinda evaporates by itself so is easier to dry, and some natural oligo/higher aliphatic org. compounds  help to slightly make the surface shiny. I dont know if i got him correctly but his meaning was something similar to what i said.

In short it acts like a polish/greasing agent.
