so....... finally.
a friend of mine helped me with credit card to purchase from international websites.

ordered 1/10th scale drift car from amazon(us) , its redcat lightning epx drift car.....
although redcat is not as good as hpi or other major brands but its quiet a good start with descent quality.

so here is what i get:

redcat lightning EPX drift car RTR ( with 2.4G radio, 1800 mah battery, charger) cost :- $130 ( ~ Rs 8030/-)
shipping from amazon dot com (US) :-  Free     ......      to amazon.
custom duties :-  $30  ( Rs 1860 )

total :-  $160 ( ~ Rs 9900 ) , at my door steps.

ordered on 14th feb , shipped on 17th feb from phoenix (AZ) US.
shipped by UPS. (again  to amazon).
expected to reach me :- 24th feb.

eagerly waiting for it now.

one thing i forgot to mention.
amazon (precisely UPS ) have there own brokers/tie-ups to clear packages through customs.
so they collect the ~custom charges before hand , at time of ordering with amazon.
so i dont have to worry about customs clearance issues now.
will keep up as follows........

now thats something really fast........

so , finally...........

expected delivery was on 24 feb , got it on 22 feb........... to ups.

as stock ,received following:

2.4G radio
full metal drive system , drive shaft etc
full ball bearing support
1800 mah nimh battery and charger

and here comes my first ride.............
