Whats the point of getting a clone when u can get the original one for just a little more. HPI pricing has reduced drastically, it makes more sense to buy from India than abroad now.

I can name about 500 people in India who have Rc cars worth over a Lakh. Its all about passion my friend. No wonder i dont have any savings.

Nope... "these guys have a lot of money" AND "they have a passion towards this hobby in particular".

A lot of people have money, and there are a lot of things one can spend his (usually hard earned) money on.  If one thinks about this passion as a madness spending money on "toys" (as many outsiders and sometimes even family members think of), that is all a matter of "point of view".  We look at it as a creative outlet, as compared to many other "destructive" outlets

i personnaly know a total of app. 15 people with a baja or knockoffs here around ghaziabad/delhi. otherwise i know somewhere around 50-60 people who own baja but they are just phone/social network friends

Very well said Anwar ji, it's all about the passion towards the hobby and money definitely plays a big role not just in this hobby but almost all the adventure and creative hobbies.

Take it RC, photography, jet skies, sky diving, golf, rafting, ice-skating and even our country own favorite Cricket.

You can start off with something very small but you do end-up spending loads more to get to the advance or pro levels.

And Sid, who does not know you in India? You are a famous person in RC (specially RC cars).
