I thought I will share my ride pics on the forum and create a thread for all to share theirs along with some experience.
All of mine are Thunder Tigers. I always wanted HPI and Kyosho kits, but had issue with availability and price. TTs are not as quality built as HPI and others, but have aggressive pricing and spares are cheaper and easily available online from Amain hobbies.
The Thunder Tiger ST-1 RTR is an exception to the quality issue. Its very well built and according to many users and reviewers is "race ready" with a few hops ups. The PRO kit is absolutely fantastic with all carbon stuff. I know many guys on rcuniverse forum racing stock ST-1s. I plan to race the ST-1 once I learn to drive properly. I am just beggining.
I also have the Sparrowhawk electric buggy, which is ok, fast and handles decent, but nothing great to talk about.
So here are my rides:
THANKS TO IMRAN :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:.

Nanda NRB3 -R Pro Buggy with the Team Novak HV Pro6.5 Electric Conversion
the mini-z is not in the pics, i use it at my work place......rest all are kits or rolling chassis. The mini inferno was an RTR but has most of its parts upgraded. The tamiya TT-01 has all CF and aluminum parts. no stock parts at all. the SCRT-10 has to be fitted with a MMP system which i hav received today. shall fit the system on the weekend. My next vehicle would be a crawler, @ months time...Axial XR-10...not sure. I am using an ERC 2.4 GHz radio for all cars.
@mail4ajo : no pics of the TT sparrowhawk??? :'(

@mail4ajo : no pics of the TT sparrowhawk??? :'(
Its the last pic on the first post. But now completely stripped for rebuild.
The ST 1 is built like a gun. Throw anything at it and it would "thats it"?
The pro 28 engine is something else, loads of compression and out right acceleration (supplimented by a beautiful drivetrain). Many ppl here are keen on getting the ST1 and at times envy the ST1 for the truggy it is, True Ready to race (not ready to run).
Here's mine. My first RC nitro (will always stay close to me)
And then there is the underbone Tomahawk ST, quite quick for a 0.8 bhp engine.
My ST-1 has been converted to electric. Work is not over. I am attaching some images in the new form and from the old nitro days.
why the decission to convert it too electric? just curious. and which motor are you planning to power it with? you have to keep up the standards dont you :)

Electric? Anything wrong with the engine? If not, send the engine over(for a price). I have plans of builiding a hot rod dragster.

Absolutely nothing wrong. The engine has been cleaned and rust protection done. Added a new air filter, packed and kept in my workshop. Electrics these days are much faster than nitros and the technology is way advanced, so want to try it.
I can offer the engine for a price. Pls PM me.

i will post the internal pics later .... the car has stock motor Reedy 17 turn with brake lights, indicators, high low front beam.
Max speed is 25 Km/hr.. i will be upgrading this to brushless by next month speed target is 95 km/hr......
The car has internal cooling system for motor and ESC.

Is this same one with Aravind? Those badlands tyres are cool, Want to get them too. Where do you drive the slick tyres?
I have the SS version and havent broke anything on the car except the body. The rims are due for a change though.

Why would anyone like to drive RC cars?
That's a rather unusual question to ask!
Maybe because its the thrill of speed, lack of space to fly, fun involved in trying to manouvre small gaps and jumps and the list goes on and on...
Decent choice Anta. Enjoy your car and keep it in proper shape by maintaining it well. Do some reading on your cars specific issues and fixes thru the rcuniverse, rctech and other forums. Great wealth of info on those forums.
@crazypilot Tons of reasons why one should have an rc car.The tech involved makes it real fun.And as Divyam said,it is the fun in negotiating terrain and it doesn't need too much room.Once you get into the intricacies of setups, you'll know. Why don't you try rcuniverse, rcgroups, thetoyz etc. You'll know. The racers are really serious.Small changes affect the car in a big way.And the best thing is that you can race.
And ANTA, good buy.Was my second choice, but going with a slash 4X4 for now.Enjoy your entry into rc cars and all the best.
Thanks a lot mail4ajo,Divyam,iamahuman....... :salute:
What do you plan to do?Race, bash or both?

X1 has a old Chassis. So handling is bit challenging compared to X2, as per my research. X2 is the new version. It also comes with Spur Gear, Differential gear, Steel Braces connecting the chassis etc etc.. See on Amainhobbies.com, under 1/8th scale buggy kits to get an idea of what im talkin abt if you want.
Instead of wasting your money on buying the new version of the buggy you can simply upgrade your old one.

Hey Divyam, Long time no see. There was leak in the engine. So changed the o-rings on the carb, removed my pull starter and modified it to plain back plate. Fixed every this back with RTV sealant. Car is much faster and leak is arrested, FINALLY.. So for now She is ready to kick some dirt.. Can wait for the weekend race in Chennai..
Looks as great as it will be:-)

nice rides.
What are the fans on the mustang for?(They look out of place for some reason). Please tell me you are working on ground effects on those cars.
Purely decorative.
Ground effects are not necessary on drifters, as they don't go fast enough for them to be effective. Besides, going sideways most of the time, there isn't any chance for them to work, anyway.
The only cars with ground effects of any appreciable value are the Ofna Gymkhana and the SC18.

Hey magarwal1 , thats an AX10 or an XR10?
Could not see presence or otherwise of any driveshafts in the pics.
The XR10 body does look great! Heard it helps the crawler flip right side up in case of a rollover.

My Losi SCB 1/10 scale short course buggy which is raced on asphalt parking lots and graded dirt fields. It has the stock brushed-motor powered with 6-cell NiMh which gives it very scale performance, especially when drifting in the corners. Sadly, Losi has discontinued this fine car.

And, not quite a car but still a lot of fun is the Thunder Tiger 1/8 scale kart. As sold, the tie-rod ball-cups are very tight requiring a rebuild to be functional. Brushless and very fast.
