Hi

Guys somebody just stole my Traxxas slash 4WD from Pitstop track, Bangalore yesterday during the race  .
This post is for two reasons

1) This should alert all fellow RC folks

2) If you comes across somebody selling a slash 4WD, and if you think it might not be genuine, please inform me.
    side note: he left the body and took only the radio and car! so it should be easy to nail him!!

Will keep a look out buddy. Will also inform you if anyone asks for proline or stock bodies, accessories etc. Should be easy to track this guy down if done right.

OMG...

I dont really think it might be some one from this hobby. Are viewers like small children/villagers having access to that place where the car was kept??
I am asking this since i know a friend whos plane got stolen from the fields by some F*****g people from a nearby village

uhh,no.My slash was next to his.Just that my lipo was not in it and my Tx was in a bag.If he knew that a lipo was needed,he would have known something about the hobby.All of us are working together to find the culprit.

Whoever did this was one cunning a**. May be he left the body behind so that it would take time to notice that the car is missing. Hope he's caught

Although this is a great loss, please do follow the example set by Jayanth in the language used on the forum.  There is no need for expletives to be posted (even if starred out)... though one can probably not help saying them in one's mind (in situations like this).

Let us keep the language all over the forum as clean / parliamentary.

I was pitting for Shashank(who btw had a GREAT race.He came 3rd in a field of 8-9 cars on his FIRST race ) and Jayanth's friends were pitting for him and were helping him and Shashank whenever help was needed.All of the attention was on the track.

Update: Car found and the owner got it back..I want to know how..

I'd also like to know what happened! Hoping its in good condition.

Good to see that the issue is resolved.  May be the details are better not discussed in public (as determined by the parties involved).

I think the thief should be named in open for the benefit of others as well..!

Careful detective work  and some trap setting did the guy in.
